We bought our curtains from ikea and got a fantastic handyman from dubizzle. They came, fitted poles, hung curtains, cleaned up. Great english. Very cheap. I will post you the number later today once i find it :) x

Hi ladies, i moved here 3 weeks ago with my husband & 2 children. We are very lucky to have supportive family back in the uk. The hardest part for me was leaving my 21 yr old son there :( our other 2 children were very settled in school so it was a VERY tough decision to pull them from all of that. We looked at the bigger picture and knew in years to come theyd of said we were stupid for not giving them this life opportunity & experience. Feeling a little homesjck at the minute & lonely. Hopefully once kids start school we will start integrating more and meet new friends. People back home looked at it as if we had won the lottery but nobody knows how tough it is unless your actually doing it xx

Hello, i moved to dubai 3 weeks ago. I have 2 children. Girl age 7, boy age 12. We live in executive towers, and although theres LOTS of children that play put, they all seem to be under the age of 5. So if anyones in need of new friends, i have 2 available here :D

Hi, I moved into executive towers 3 weeks ago from the uk. I too find it very sad to see these children spending their days in a corridor. I have 2 children, a boy age 12 & a 7 yr old girl. They are a bit nervous to go and play around the podium level and it seems to only be the really young kids playing there anyway. Is there any other children of similar ages living here? My children would live to be making new friends. :)
