We r planning to move either Sydney or Melbourne ... Can someone plz advise me on teaching requirements. If i do cache level3 from Dubai, will it b helpful? Also, is there safety deposit boxes ( lockers) facilities there n approx. how much? Thnkxxx I can only tell about melbourne that safety deposit boxes are available in major banks and they have long waiting lists (6 months plus atleast) in cbd area. You would need to go with private companies who provide this service and should expect to pay atleast 100 dollars more than what a bank would charge for same service. E.g. bank might charge 164 dollars for a yearly rental for the smallest size ..a private company might charge 276 dollars for the same size box yearly rental. If you do plan to arrive with valuables and need something urgent then budget to cough up that much money there is no other way. Also no bank answers call here so if you want to find availability you would have to go from branch to branch physically to enquire and put your name down. Hope it helps. Hi, Can u plzz give me some contact num or websites for private agencies that offer safety lockers services as we are planning to travel with the valuables. Also, is it safe to walk around in Melbourne or sydney with jewlry? Or we its not recommended. TIA

Thnkxxxx n regards! don't worry it a very friendly play based assessment and they ask "what is your name, ask about colors and they ask you if he is potty trained , going to any nursery At some schools,You can join him during the assessment . For my boy they allowed to join him and he was very happy and refused leave the school. You can prepare him by telling him about the new school and how it is so nice and friendly and also revise with him alphapets, numbers, shapes, animals and colors and answering what is your name, how are u , how old are you ,,, etc It is a very very simple assessment and the assessors were so kind. Hi how did you get on with your enquiries for training for undertaking the Cache 2/3 qualification? Did you get in touch with someone from GEMS eventually? No dear... In fact one of my friends who works in Gems school suggested me not to take GEMS course as it is just home based. Lets c what will i do... What do u suggest?

Anyone can comment on this school? I see it is a gems school, but if I look at the fees they are much lower then other gems schools. How is level of education and general feel of the school? Anybody has kids here? Thinking of changing my daughters current school and they are grade 5 and grade 3.(so grade 6 and grade 4 next year) and this would be good location for us....and schoolfees here seem to good to be true..:-) Please advise Hi, There are 2 winchister schools operating in Dubai. One is in The Gardens Jabel Ali while the other is in Oud Metha. I have friends whose children are studying in both. The Jabel Ali 1 is quite good having 90% Indian staff ( its rated good by KHDA) but Oud Metha branch is just horrible ( as per my friends). I would recommend you to go through the Khda's official website n read their survey reports. Hope u get wht ur looking for.. Good Luck ????

I recently had DD's done at the Mediclinic in Dubai Mall. It was Dhs 260 and took about 30 seconds. She didn't feel a thing and it was a "tears free" experience. I applied Emla cream about an hour before our appointment. You get to choose the earrings, which need to be worn for a month. You also have to clean around the earrings with an alcohol swab twice a day for a fortnight. Honestly, I didn't expect it to be as easy as it was! Good luck :) Thnkxxxx a lotttt❤️❤️

So she forgets it and doesn't have to be scared of getting it done when she is older, nd 9/10 females will et it done. If only Oprah had it done when she was a baby. I got DD's done at the clinic on Beach Road. It cost 300AED. I think that is the normal sort of charge of it here. Thank u!! may i know its name?

even :cry: im lukin for FS-1 in school . just moved to dubai internt city . i dont know is it beter to put him in nursery or school . he will turn 4 in february . Any suggestion pls ... Send him to a nursery till september... N register him for FS2 !! He can start his school from Sep2016 hopefylly! Several nurseries r located near by internet city... Just google them! Dnt worry!

Hi ladies, I am in pain , i went to a center , who is very famous one just to remove some black dots on my face Appear from the hot sun in Qatar Then one doctor come to check me (she is very rude and aggressive) she told me it will gone by laser , she put for me Emla (like beng) and rape my face by fliming , so she can start laser without i feel she left me 1 hour or more, suddenly my face turns red , all the black dots turns to big deep red scratch I stand up because i felt burn and i go out to ask where is the doctor all this time , i feel myself burn it They told wait a minute and they decide to gave me my money back and it's not their responsability anymore I dont take any action with tgem because it's not the time ,i have to go and put some pain killer cream ..i dont know what happen to me How can i go to my work ? , how can i live my normal life ? , what i can do take situation with this center ? I went to another doctor and i start medication creams and tablets cortizone , but the question is What can i do to this center? How can i take a strict steps to them ? I want to protect everyone from this center and those doctors ? Please help me please Thanks a lot:brokenheart: Hope u ll feel better soon... Whats the name of tht center???? U can go to the health ministry with all the receipts n details .... Also, you can ask the doc ( the second one) to give you the written document abt the condition of ur face after being visited the center. Tc

CACHE is a qualification that is recognised internationally. You need to speak to them as they might suggest that you do the level 2 first. Thnkxx ur reallly very helpful... May i know if ur already working somewhere??? Thnkxxx

Dear Reva and June_B, I really feel for you. It is a difficult thing to obtain a driving skill, it takes time, effort and money to get a license here. But the more you practice, the better you are. try to keep as calm and confident as you can. Don't be nervous, don't hurry up and you will definately pass. So many people have a license and you will. Though I had no issues with my exams here, i still don't drive. I got my license more than a year ago. I think I passed just because I was pregnant and due in a month after I had my final exam, so the assessor was not severe at all and probably turned a blind eye on my not so good control of the car. Having received my driving license I never actually drove myself because i don't feel confident enough. So having a lisence doesn't mean being able to drive (it my case at least). Hi tory... I second you... I got the license in the frst go but blv me i also feel so nervous to drive alone ????? Can someone plzzz suggest hw i can overcome my phobia... I really want to drive but don't knw what happens to me whn i go close to the car fr driving... I want help .. Plzzzzz

I am 30 years old and have never driven before in any other countries. People keep asking me why didn't I take the opportunity to learn driving in England 5 years back. Well my justification was the transportation system was so strong in some areas that I did not require that time. But every country is different. After moving to UAE, I have realized that it is important to obtain the driving license for convenience. So I have enrolled with 40 classes. And meanwhile had to change instructor after 19 classes as previous instructor was not available. Present instructor picked it up and feedback that I didnt learn how to control car and straight the wheels. And I learnt that 4 classes is divided in 30 minutes each day which I was not told before.Eventually finished off my 40 classes and appeared for Parking Test on 7th Nov, 2015. Failed Parallel, Angle, Garage. I assume in the first attempt I was extremely nervous that I couldn't recall the points. Second time appeared on 19th Nov, the wheel touched the curb and turning of steering was too fast during Garage Parking. I sought suggestions and the areas that I need to work on from the examiner and her reply was so very vague, "My dear you could not park the car correctly". She did not highlight exactly where I was going wrong, After the test, I spoke to my instructor and she said "Its your fault!" I wonder we have become so complicated that our words lack encouragement, make people feel comfortable. No one says, 'You can do it" rather than saying "Its your fault". I have been asked to take another 4 classes whereas I booked for another 8 classes but still not sure when I can clear the Parking Test. It is not about how many times you fail but the effect of failing makes you so miserable. I do not know how soon or when at all I can clear the Parking Test. Any suggestions or advice anyone? People on the same boat can empathize. My dear .... Dnt feel low.. As u have never driven before thts y u r having issues on this, ask ur instructor to keep allowing u practice all the three parkings, n if he / she agrees tell him / her to stay out of the car n let u do it, jus monitor u from outside... It will gv u confidence tht u hav to do it all alone.. Dnt give up ... U can do it !! Cheers❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi... Most of the renown nurseries don't take kids for one or two hr... You have to send her to a private day care tht ladies run at their homes... Chk it on dubizzle , u will find plenty of them. Tc n gdluck...

There are lots of nice family orientated hotels in RAK, many will have their own kids club or you could enjoy the pool or beach. Eid will obviously be a busy time so availability at short notice may be an issue. So a part from hotels .. Is there any nice park , zoo or anyother amusement??

You may also have to change soiled pants for children who are in toilet training days. The nurseries don't hire nannies to take care of the children alongside the class leaders. And I say class leaders as many are not qualified teachers, simply people who enjoy and are skilled at working with younger children. My friend is an assistant in one of my favorite nurseries and she absolutely loves it (diapers and all) because she just loves watching the little ones learn. Thnkxx dear ladies... Appreciate it!!!
