I had an amazing girl who used to do my blonde highlights. Sadly she returned to the U.K. So I went to a hairdresser on the Beach Road. Worst mistake of my entire life. I just wanted a few blonde highlights. Rather than going into the full tragic story my hair is ruined and I mean ruined. It's snapped so much and is frizzy on top. I did have a lovely bob. I'm treating it myself everyday now. They gave me a treatment after me having to pay 50 dhs each way again by taxi. They offered me a Brazilian blowout which would have damaged my hair more. Offered me nail treatments which I declined as that wouldn't help my hair. They had no idea how to colour my hair and I have been so upset I was even in tears in the salon as they even turned my hair grey and I mean grey. I don't want to go back but I really need help. I'm so sick of people ruining my hair here and paying for the privilege. Please can someone recommend an amazing hair dresser that knows her stuff that may be able to rescue what I have left. I feel like I have been left with a full block colour of white and yellow and now my roots are coming through and I'm at a loss as to what to do. I thought I had learnt my lesson years ago but now I'm back to square one. I don't care the cost now just need serious help. Any great advice would be really appreciated. TIA. Check my hairdressers facebook page, 'powered by Claude'. I trust that she will give the right consultation. I highly recommend her,

I know how tough it can be to find the right hair stylist in Dubai, so many are terrible :-(( However, I really can recommend my hairdresser Claude. She is by far the best colorist and hairdresser I have tried in Dubai. I call her my hair therapist haha. Just google "powered by claude" and you will see I am not the only fan, judging on the reviews she gets. I am really curious to hear about other hair stories. Please share them! I have seen this post on so many pages... quite copy pasted as well. Really hope it is not a spam to just promote the saloon or hairdresser. Can admin make sure it is not a spam? I just think my hairdresser is the best Dashenka and want to share that experience with others. Nothing wrong with that.

I would just drive to Satwa and find a tailor there to make you dress. There are so many there Bring a picture of the design you like, buy the textiles in one of many Satwa stores and there you go. Nothing easier than tailoring clothes in Dubai

Certified pre pwner car dealerships are the lowest risk, but with a price tag off course. Just don't trust offers, which are very low, because there must be something dodgy. If you want to have a good deal, try to buy directly from people, who are leaving the country. They are mostly offering their cars at a good discount and you can negotiate

Just wear comfy clothes and sandals. It is really low key, so don't try out something fancy. Sunglasses and a sunhat off course are good as well if you are very sensitive to the sun. Just relax and enjoy the fun.

Dear Girls It is a myth that the water in Dubai is responsible for the hair loss. Actually the main reasons for the hair damage are poor treatment (use of chemicals, cheap coloring products, shampoo, etc) and the change of environment (stress, diet, etc). There was actually a nice article recently in the gulf news about facts and myths regarding hair. (http://gulfnews.com/gn-focus/special-reports/lifestyle/9-myths-about-hair-colour-busted-1.2082389). In order to fix your hair, you can visit a good salon and do a hair treatment. This will make your hair healthy again. Claude, who wrote the article, happened to be my hairdresser. She totally fixed my hair with a treatment session. Just google 'powered by claude' and you find plenty of great reviews on her work.
