Bythesea! Hang in there lovely. Dubai can be tough some days. There are days I really like it, and others I loathe it. It comes with the expat territory I guess. You are also obviously an adventurous spirit who likes new things. I have a friend who is a lot like that. To keep herself from getting itchy feet, she is always starting new things. Maybe try to start a small business, a new hobby? Get your creative juices flowing. The time flies by when your mind is engaged in something creative and fun. Just a suggestion? x

We got one of those Blu filters they sell at the malls at stands. Have noticed that my hair is softer and falling out less. But you have to remember to change the filter regularly. Also, shampoos that have sodium lauryl sulfate in them, are particularly more harsh. You must remember that SLS is a detergent, and is used in it's pure form to remove grease and dirt from factory floors etc. Using SLS every single day really takes its toll on your scalp and follicles. Try and alternate with a shampoo from the organic food cafe or a health store. Like all shampoos they can be hit and miss, but it's nice to know you're giving your skin a breather. Every chemical you put on your skin, including your scalp, eventually goes directly into your blood stream. The small doses build up in our systems over time and can make us ill.

We used them because we went to Malaysia for our honeymoon. Service was good. Planes are older though. (Well the one we went on was). But no real complaints. (Other than being a dry airline).

Happy New Year to all April mums to be, have been looking online at the bumps and babes meetings at the Marina Mall this week, will any of you be there to catch up? haven't been on the forum for a wee while, Max- your symptom of stinging lower muscles... Is it like a stitch sensation? Thats what i've been getting just lately from walking too much round the malls and in general plus any shoes/trainers i wear just now, i find nothing comfortable... I used to have my belly button pierced (i think its due to belly expanding) but the top of it's becoming red, just worried it's going to pop! Like belly button i think is due to any day now... I see just kidding are doing a good deal if you buy the Stokke pushchair you get a free carseat, which i'm very tempted by but still tad superstitious as going back to uk to deliver so will have to take it with me then leave at my folks, anyone have any reviews of this buggy.... xx Just be careful buying from Just Kidding. They are so ridiculously expensive. My friend bought a bugaboo from the UK instead. When she got her tax back she'd saved 500pounds then if she'd got it at Just Kidding. That's how much more they charge for stuff. It's disgusting!! I won't step foot in the place.

Try Blush and Bloom. I had a proper fitting at the lady's fitting room in Arabian Ranches and had loads to choose from. She specialises in maternity. She also comes to you too.

I think blushandbloom.com have a great range. I visited the lady in Arabian Ranches but she is also online. She has everything. Nursing tops, nursing bras, maternity clothes. Best I've seen in Dubai. Even stocks Isabella Oliver which is a great UK brand. Definitely cheaper than shipping it in too.
