Can anyone recommend a decent removals firm? I've heard that Delight and E-Movers are good, can anyone confirm / advise otherwise? thanks !

Hi I cannot recommend Al Noor, in fact the opposite. I had a very bad experience there. Please see Dr Tank for advice, she is excellent although expensive, it depends on whether you want to pay the extra. SHe will point you in the right direction. Her number is 026811122 Good Luck :)

I had a miscarriage 2 years ago and was frantically worried when pregnant with 2nd pregnancy. My gynae prescribed aspirin from week 5 and I now have a beautiful daughter. I took aspirin 75mg, daily from week 5-week 35. Apparently many miscarriages occur as there's not enough oxygen in the blood to reach baby so aspirin thins the blood and allows this. I am no dr but have a lovely baby now so from my experience this was safe. Good luck

Thanks for this, nuisance with the Corniche changing rules so that self-pay and reimbursement aren't allowed anymore!

Hiya Dr Tank is the best at the Swedish Medical Centre. The Corniche changed all of their policies on 9th March and you can no longer register if you self pay and claim back...you need to have an insurance policy which they accept(this is an ordeal in itself) annoying I know therefore on Dr Tanks recommendation, I aim to deliver at City in Dubai Hope this helps...

Hi Does anybody have experience of giving birth in the Dubai city hospital (coming from Abu Dhabi)? I plan to as recommended by my gynae and was considering staying a week before (all being well) I just need to find out where we can rent a reasonably priced villa/get a good priced hotel!. Many thanks, all answers appreciated!

Hi I would definitely recommend Mirabel the cafe in the Marks and Spencer's building(it's also in the entertainer) they also accompany with malt vinegar! Also, on a more expensive note, Finz the seafood restaurant in the Beach Rotana is excellent! Enjoy

Thanks so much for your replies! Do you mean the support group as in this forum or is it something else? Cheers edited by Warey on 07/04/2014

Hi I have bought lots of stuff from Destination Maternity in Al Waahda Mall Abu Dhabi. I bought yoga pants, sleep bras, bras, jeans and dresses. They also currently have a sale on. I think the Dubai branch is in Mirdiff? Excellent stock and great prices, hope that this helps!
