I've been to Miracles in Media City and they have pretty good meditation sessions. I will be trying Illuminations in JLT soon as I have heard nothing but phenomenal reviews. A friend of mine recently had a life-altering session with a woman by the name of Mona Issa. It's worth a website visit or a phone call.

Thanks you for your response. I'll look into that doctor. I know this may be a bit personal but couldyou advise me approximately how much a consultation costs with this doctor as I have no idea on average cost etc x You're more than welcome :) I have insurance, BUPA. I would call Mediclinic City Hospital -- where Dr. Baha is -- and ask to speak to the Endocrinology department. The nurses there are really helpful and should either be able to answer your question on consult fees, or at the very least be able to guide you as to who to speak to. Hope this helps! Hi there, I have personally seen Dr. Baha over at Mediclinic in Dubai Healthcare City -- and he is AMAZING. I originally consulted him for underactive thyroid symptoms. We found that it was indeed Hypothyroid. I was concerned about pregnancy and whether my underactive thyroid would interfere in conceiving a child. After 6 weeks of the right dosage (Levothyroxine), we conceived :) Although I can't help with all of your questions and our situations are a bit different, I can tell you that having an understanding, super supportive doctor who was willing to spell out anything and everything I didn't understand proved to be most beneficial for me. Dr. Baha is a true gem. Best wishes..Xx

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to thank you, AAL, for your comment and recommendation. It inspired me to go see Dr. Mazin for my acute, rather severe symptoms. In the first few minutes of laughs - he had managed to make me completely, albeit temporarily, forget about my issues. After 2 trips to the Emergency Dept., I prayed for a GI doctor like him. Dr. Mazin was incredibly kind, compassionate, informative, and his sense of humor was refreshing. He decided to run a few special tests that the Emergency Department had not done, (not their fault, just not their specialty.) I received an IV drip for rehydration and awaiting test results today. From his nurse squeezing me in for a same day appointment to leaving the Dubai Mall clinic, I felt I was in good hands the whole way through.
