For those of you with Dr. Roger, do you go regularly to get your band filled, for example as you lose more weight? At the beginning I was going every so often for a fill and even to have some taken out i.e. if I was going on holiday. At the moment my band is unfilled as I am trying to lose the last 6kgs on my own.

Esports do various clubs in some schools, ie. Wellington, JPS. My children have been going to the JPS summer camp for the last 3 years, they love it and have made countless friends. You do not have to attend these schools to go edited by wiggywig on 19/03/2011

Is Dubai really such a small place that you could get in touch with random people you meet via EW?:\: Absolutely, but beware it also works the other way. If you upset someone they will no doubt know someone else that you know.

Hi kittykittycat. Yes I have had a tummy tuck but only the mini one, basically to get rid of excess skin. I still have a way to go and go to the gym frequently. The band has changed my way of life, not only my physical appearance but my self confidence. I eat better and make better choices when eating out. Of course I still have bad naughty days but you would have that on any diet. I first went to Cosmesurge and they directed me to Dr Roger. Emirates Hospital ran so many blood tests on me, had to have a full medical to deem me able to have the op. They didn't agree to me having the op straight away. I realy do wish you well if you decide to go for it. Good luck

I had a band done about 3 years ago with Dr Roger at Emirates Hospital. I have lost about 30kgs in total with 6kgs to go. It is not a quick fix solution and you seriously need to consider all your options. Some people that I knew said how easy it must have been to lose the weight with the band. Well let we say, it definitely helped me as I could not do it on my own, but believe me there is alot of WILLPOWER needed as well, as things like chocolate or icecream are easily eaten with or without a band. It worked and is still working for me. I absolutely recommend Dr Roger and his aftercare is very good. GOOD LUCK x

Just seen some propoints stuff in Spinneys, but only some jar stuff like sweet and sour. I too am doing Weight Watchers and are searching hi and lo for products. Must of the supermarkets do various items, not cheap though. I have only found in the frozen ready meals, ocean pie and wild salmon and potato wedges. Not all the items are in the diet sections, but dotted around i.e. sauces in jars in the normal section. Good luck. If you find any other frozen meals, please let me know. If you check on the weight watchers website it gives you the new propoints value for all the products

Just go to any opticians, they will probably have to send them away for a couple of days, thats what I did when my DS broke his glasses.

My 10 year olds didn't have to attend and forms were submitted at the same time as mine. I received mine almost 5 months ago, as did DH, but still waiting for the boys to come. Keep emailing them, but nothing

I managed to get through to the police and spoke to someone giving them all the details. Not that I think it will do any good though, but did make me feel a bit better

Please be careful. If you get a phone call from someone from Etisalat saying that you have won dhs500,000, please do not give any information out. THIS IS A SCAM. They were asking me loads of questions and when I refused to give them anything and threatened the police, they became very abusive and obscene. If they call please just put the phone done. Take care ladies x hahaha - I understood that the Etisalat person threatened wiggywig with the police since she was no cooperative and not willing to provide the needed info to get the prize money!!! Sorry, but I don't understand these cases; woudn't there be a celebration and the 500kaed cheque would be handed in a ceremony if that would really happen? One lady I know gave them 40kaed before she realized it was a scam. I just a missed call last night at 1:30am from Nigeria; maybe I have also have won something?!? Actually I threatened them with the police not the other way round

I agree. Projects should be done by them. Obviously I do help and give advice when needed. Like you say it is so obvious when parents have done the projects. My two children are just starting to see this (they are both in Yr 5), and they feel proud that they did it.

Hi. I didn't use Dr Fakhi, but I would like to say good luck to everyone trying. I know exactly what you are all going through, I went through it 11 years ago. I am now a proud parent of twin boys (10 year old). It is a really hard process but think positive and will be thinking of you all. BTW I used Dr Pankesh (Dubai Gynaecolgy Centre, nr Rashid Hospital). I know he doesn't work there now but set up his own practice somewhere. Both Dr Pankesh and DGC were amazing. Good luck x

Hi GirlAnachronism, you might want to sit down for my reply. The cost of the extensions were dhs4800, plus extra for the cut, plus extra for the special brush. It was a huge amount of money. This is my last time to have it done, boo hoo. If you can afford it, do it, it is so much fun x

I have hair extensions done at Gold Salon. I am very happy with them. I had 200 extensions put in and the time took was not quite two hours. Quite expensive but I am having so much fun with them. Enjoy! By the way Gold Salon uses Keratin bonds and when I had the first lot of extensions out my hair was in fantastic condition still. New ones were put straight back in x edited by wiggywig on 04/02/2011
