Hi, I need to do a blood pregnancy test ASAP - so stressed out! I read somewhere that blood tests are more reliable and can detect pregnancy earlier than at home tests.. Anybody know where I can have it done? Do I need to see a doctor to have the test done or is there anywhere I can go without a doctor's prescription.. All suggestions welcome!

Sorry about your dress, I dont know where you live, but I have used 'Needles and Laces' a few times - fixing very delicate laces - and they did a truly fantastic job! If you do go, ask for Fatma, she's great. You are right to be cautious, Ive had clothes totally ruined by tailors here in Dubai.. but Fatma has always done a great job for me. They are located in Murjan, JBR, Plaza level , opposite style outlet, ph. 044322029. I have also heard that the tailor in Mercato (Tailor &Co) are very good, but havent tried them myself. good luck!

Hi Abet, So sorry to hear that you had a mishap with your wedding dress - I was in a very similar situation, and new in Dubai at the time, but I was lucky to find Koba who did a FANTASTIC job in fixing my dress (it was difficult because it had very detailed and extremely delicate embroidery). I HIGHLY recommend her, do go and see her, Im sure she'll save your day - as much as she did mine! Also she's very punctual (which is so important to me, you dont want added stress!) Her name is Koba Kochae, she can also work with different budgets, she's located near the dubai mall, in business bay. Hello, Im in need of a good wedding dress-maker. Basically I am using my sister's wedding dress but need some substantial alterations (including having a new skirt made and attached). It is a very delicate dress with delicate embroidery so would need someone who is a good dressmaker and knows how to work with embroidery... Any ideas? I would be extremely thankful!!
