haha dogcatcher.......we're all so excited but still have no idea where it is lol! A friend of a friend posted a picture on facebook and tagged my friend in it with the actual Tim Hortons...opening soon sign and I've left a couple of comments asking WHERE but no reply :( Glad to hear that everything tastes the same as back home! Can't wait to get a double double ;)

Thanks for the offer BEDH.....I had a rummage through my storage room yesterday and actually found all the pieces for the bassinet attachment for my pack and play which I actually thought I had left behind! Everything is ready to go now, just waiting for baby ;)

Thanks so much for your replies ladies. Checked out the hukoomi site and looks like the max they could stay for at one time would be 6 months. Not clear on how long they would have to leave for before they could come back for another 6 months though. Mrs.Wolf, they are in excellent health and rarely see a doctor.....good point to bring up though ;)

Last year when I had an invasion I used the Raid ant powder....it worked really well. I sprinkled it everywhere the ants could possibly come in and we have not had a reoccurance since!! Might want to try that...sorry do not know where to find the borax.

Bukhari (kind of on the side of Bennigans) and Shezan are soooooo much better than Star of India!!! Try them...you'll taste the difference! CSM.....Shezan is an authentic pakistani restaurant...some of the best food I've ever had. Their bbq lamp chops and butter naans are out of this world!!

NewbieDoha...sounds like we have very similar skin!! I have found that with a lot of places here....the sales ladies just aren't familiar with the products and that is very frustrating! Like Rachel said...same thing at Sephora! Okay I'll take a look at the Shiseido products....thanks so much for the recommendation!!

It is SO hot that I think it will be safe to say that you have never felt heat like it before!! I agree with Rachel, that just when you think it cannot get any hotter....it does! How do people cope? They leave! There is a huge mass exodus in the summer and you will find that the streets, shops etc. are sooooo quiet! That being said, I have stayed here,with my children who are under 5 for the last two years. I find Doha really peaceful in the summer. My hubby gets off of work earlier, the streets are practically empty, and I don't have to venture out for the school run!
