Hi all, I have just heard from WIS that they would like to assess my daughter for FS2 2015 in the coming days and I would really appreciate any feedback / advise / tips etc. on WIS assessment experiences you have had.. Do you know what their typical criteria is? Should I allow myself to feel optimistic that she will get through or should I stay at the edge of my seat because it will be highly competitive? Also are there any others out there who have been called for assessment for FS2 ? Thanks in advance!

In my personal experience - babies of that age do take atleast 45 mins to 1 hour to take one full feed..i was never a fan of on demand feeding so I would encourage her to have more at each feed and then to wait atleast 3 hours to start the next feed.. If you want to try to increase supply - pump for 10-15 mins directly after you bf (not 1 hour later).. and it is best to let the baby empty one breast first so as for him / her to get to the hind milk as well.. hope it goes well for you

We did it a little differently..when she was wide awake with open eyes, we clicked several pics of her while she lay on a white bed sheet..you can try this at different times of the day to see what best you can get. need to remember to keep both ears visible, no hat and eyes open..so we had lots of pic options..then we put all of these on a pen drive - went over to any photo studio and asked them to print the most suitable one as per the size required for the passport..this way we did not have to take her in to any studio!!

Humming bird at the DIFC is really excellent for babies and they accept babies from 3 months I think. Their timings are convenient for working parents - 7am to 7pm..Fees are close to 5k for a full day 5 days a week..Let me know if you have any questions - my daughter has been there since she was 3 months old
