Before I start the process and also pay out, are there any success stories of anyone obtaining a visa for their nanny/helper to travel with them to the UK to work on a 6 month visa? Thanks in advance!

Waitrose in Dubai Marina Mall :-) Also Choitrams in the Greens has the powder, saw it there when looking for the liquid!

SMA 1-3 is in Spiney's Marina Mall and also Spiney's Town Centre, bought a tin in case I cannot find any liquid!

Calling to all mummies who will be going to buy baby milk or baby food. If you see any of the ready made SMA baby milk either 1 litre or 250 ml please can you let me know where! I have driven round many Spiney's and Choitrams and everywhere seems to have sold out :-(

We bought ours from The One.....highly recommend they are very comfortable!....we have one of them on our bed as well as the guest room.

Hi 2dogs.........I have welcomed our DD 10 days ago, also from the UK....we priced everything up here, and at John Lewis. It worked out cheaper for hubby to fly back to the UK and bring everything back.....even with the cost of sending some items cargo, with the VAT you can claim back and the cost of the items, we still saved money! Worth looking in to :-)

Try also Thyme restaurant at Oasis Beach Tower in Dubai Marina. We have a a Xmas dinner takeaway 2 years running and it's always been excellent.....very yummy!!
