Hi everyone, I've recently had an tooth extraction and I am now searching for a dentist to do the implant. I don't have dental insurance and have asked around and was quoted around 10,000Dhs or more for one implant. Someone told me about a "Dental Card" that you can purchase here in Dubai (600Dhs for a family card) that will give you an automatic 30% discount off on all procedures. They have a list of general dentists and implantologists that accept the Dental Card. If anyone on the forum has used the Dental Card to get an implant, could they please let me know how it went and if the Dental Card is worth using. Many Thanks

Hi everyone, DH and I went to view an apartment today at the Marina Pinnacle Tower, across from the Torch. Has anyone had any experience with the traffic in this area in the mornings (7:00 - 7:30am)? I work in the Umm Sequiem area, and plan on driving down Soufh Road until it turns into Beach Road. We noticed quite a lot of construction along the road while we were there. Does anyone know how long the construction will last? The road is down to just single lanes in both directions. Also, does anyone have any experience with the maintenance contracts at the Pinnacle? Do the repairmen arrive quickly, and are they able to carry out needed repairs? The apartment we looked at had no wardrobes installed. Is this standard for all apartments at the Pinnacle? Thanks in Advance, ZWL

Thanks, Mishmash. Has anyone else heard of apartments for sale in any of the other buildings in TECOM?

I’m Chinese, and I’ve never been to Hainan myself, but I have heard a lot about it from the Chinese media. I’m from the northwestern part of China, but from what we see on CCTV, Hainan is the “Hawaii” of China. It is very green and has many tropical fruits and beautiful, sandy beaches. It is a favorite tourist destination within China and the government has spent millions of dollars to build it into a vacationers’ paradise. Many Chinese couples spend their honeymoons there. I would say you should “go for it”. I’m sure you will like it there very much. ZWLS

Thanks for the reply, Fragglexx, Does everyone in the Springs have LG digital thermostats? Does Emaar allow you to switch them out with another model? Is everyone okay with leaving the fan running all through the summer? How energy efficient is that? ZWLS

Sure, their number is 056-693-9380; 056-693-9381; 056-693-9382; 056-693-9383. They give you a take out menu when you order. They are known for their Wendy's burgers - single, double or triple patties, but they also serve chicken burgers and chilli and curly fries. The "Frosty" is a dessert that's sort of a cross between a milk shake and soft ice cream.

Dear All, Does anyone have any names/suggestions of professional photographers who take senior yearbook photos at reasonable prices? Thanks,
