I was also thinking about getting my braces done at Nicholas & Asp around 3 years back and was genuinely surprised by the price they quoted (around 7500). However, I was put off by the estimated treatment time they gave me, which was around 2 years. That the entire treatment was to be done by the training students was another reason which discouraged me, despite the fact that it would be under the supervision of experts. After all, if I get an experienced orthodontist to treat me and help me get a good result, I wouldn’t mind spending a few extra bucks. They did not clearly explain my doubts and concerns regarding the braces treatment and I really was not convinced with the place. After getting opinion from a few doctors, I felt comfortable doing the treatment with Dr. Nazeer Ahmed in Mirdif. He is a highly experienced orthodontist and is well known in the UAE. I got some very good reviews about the doctor from my friends who have done their braces with him. He explained the treatment and cleared all my doubts patiently. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that my treatment could be completed in 12-16 months if I was regular for my monthly checkup appointments. He kept up his promise and my treatment was completed in 14 months and now I am gifted with a perfect smile which I really love, thanks to Dr. Nazeer. The treatment cost, though slightly more than Nicholas, was pretty reasonable and were split into monthly payments which I found to be very convenient. A few of my friends are now doing their braces with him and are happy with the progress of their treatment. Hope that helps. :)
