Foundation sets the base for your makeup - if your foundation is wrong - everything just looks off. What makes a foundation right? The right shade, the right formula and the right consistency. Some people are blessed with good skin (oh, how we envy them), while others have to find a full coverage foundation and fake it till they make it.
Here is a list of 5 full coverage foundations that do not feel heavy on your skin and yet hid every blemish and spot that needs to be hidden.
1. Kat Von D - Lock It Tattoo Foundation
It says so in the name itself - this foundation even covers tattoos. Developed by the world's most famous tattoo artist and current sensation in the beauty world - Kat Von D has really outdone herself with this one!
The foundation has a matte finish and comes in 30 different shades.

2. Too Faced - Born This Way Foundation
If you have dry acne prone skin (or as we like to call it - the worst of both worlds), the Born This Way foundation by Too Faced is the right choice for you. Fun fact: this foundation was inspired the movie Bridesmaids from the scene where Annie wakes up - rushes to the bathroom to put makeup on and goes back to bed to imply to her man that she "woke up like this".

3. Estée Lauder - Double Wear Stay In Place Makeup
An oldie, but a goodie. Even though this product has gone through many reformulations over the years - it truly does keep your makeup in place. The foundation has a natural looking finish that can last up to 15 hours and is oil free making it an ideal choice if you have oily skin.

4. Chanel - Perfection Lumiere
This foundation is truly unique because it provides a matte yet radiant finish. This means you look dewy, but never turn into an oil slick. The best part though is how the foundation smells - heavenly!

5. Illamasqua - Rich Liquid Foundation
Okay, the coverage on this is no joke. Use this only if you have seriously problematic skin. This foundation is like a straight up coverage mask and the tiniest drop is enough for your whole face. It is not an easy foundation to work with and will require you to blend till your arms hurt - but it is worth it if EXTREME coverage is what you are after.
This foundation leaves a semi-matte finish and is water resistant.
