Don’t worry about that long gone 90’s fashion or beauty trend you badly want to delve into, because the status quo is: it’ll most probably come back in the future.
We’ve witnessed some examples, just like: cuffs, high-waisted jeans, track pants, denim jumpers, box braids, and many others. But we still love to see more!
Our point is: fashion history repeats itself. So never throw away any piece of clothing just because it’s not “trendy” anymore. You never know when it will come back as a “to-die-for” piece of the season.
Here’s our top favourite five back-from-the-dead trends...
#1 Flannels
The red and black 90’s flannels made a comeback with different colours, and we really can’t imagine a wardrobe without any. Flannels could be styled with a leather black pants, or a short skirt and a white tanks top.
#2 Crop Tops
Cropped tops go back to the 90’s as well, however, they made a comeback, and we don’t believe they’ll go out of style anytime soon. Pair any high-waist pants or skirt with a crop top and you have the perfect summer look.
#3 Jumpsuits And Playsuits
We can thank the 70’s for those! They’re really cute, and aren’t occasion-specific. Short ones can also be worn with stockings during colder seasons.
#4 Thick Eyebrows
Do you occasionally go through some of your old pictures, and wonder why on earth didn’t someone stop you from going out with those thin little lines on your forehead? Yeah, we can relate. Thank you fashion for bringing back thick eyebrows.
#5 Winged Eyeliner
Audrey Hepburn, a timeless beauty icon, didn’t only have the perfect thick eyebrows, but also on-point eyeliner. We also have that now thanks to history repetition.
