Saudi Arabia’s first ever fashion show took place back in April 2018 for Arab Fashion Week, as now the Kingdom is preparing for another fashion showcase this autumn.

HH Princess Noura Bint Faisal Al Saud announced that Saudi Fashion Week will take place from 21st to 25th October, as the Riyadh runways will feature designs from spring/summer 2019 collections from Arab and international labels.

The Saudi Fashion Week will take place in the Al Faisaliah Hotel and Al Faisaliah Tower, in KSA’s capital. In a statement posted on the Saudi Fashion Week website, Princess Noura revealed that: “Fashion is the ultimate language of the global culture, Therefore, the Saudi Fashion Community was born from the need for a platform dedicated to all aspects related to fashion: education, design, manufacturing, trade and retail.”

For Saudi’s first SS19 fashion week, Saudi Arabian designer Arwa Al Banawi will return to runway and will be joined by Yanina Couture, Yahya Al Bishri, Lama Askari, Dar Walid Attallah and Robert Abi Nader. Six emerging Saudi fashion designers will also feature, as their names will be revealed closer to show time.
