Chanel Beach Runway, SS19 Paris Fashion Week

The Grand Palais in Paris was decked out with sand, sea and blue skies for Chanel’s Spring Summer 2018 showcase for Paris Fashion Week.

Although it was a chilly autumn day on the streets of Paris, Chanel took their front row straight to the summer of '19 with a catwalk resembling a beach. There were wooden docks, waves, lifeguards and even former Baywatch actor Pamela Anderson sat on the front row.

Gigi Hadid Bridal Look for Moschino SS19 at MFW

Milan Fashion Week SS19 has been a dream –just like the fantasy bridal gown Gigi Hadid wore to close the Moschino show, which was beautifully carried by butterflies.

With an artistic collection, as dreamy as ever, Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott sent models, including Kaia Gerber and Kendall Jenner, down the runway in outfits which resembled paper dolls with scribbles and cut out accessories.

Saudi Fashion Week Spring Summer 2019

Saudi Arabia’s first ever fashion show took place back in April 2018 for Arab Fashion Week, as now the Kingdom is preparing for another fashion showcase this autumn.

HH Princess Noura Bint Faisal Al Saud announced that Saudi Fashion Week will take place from 21st to 25th October, as the Riyadh runways will feature designs from spring/summer 2019 collections from Arab and international labels.

Fashion's Protest on Denmark's Burqa Ban

Last week, Iranian-born, Danish designer Reza Etamadi, made more than a fashion statement on the runway at Copenhagen Fashion Week by dressing models in conservative hijabs and niqabs –in resistance to Denmark's much-debated burqa ban. Reza used his streetwear brand, MUF10, to oppose the law which bans full-face coverings worn by a minority of women in Denmark; the show also featured police officers in uniform as a symbol of support.
