Having a flat tummy doesn’t define your limits or your personality but it does bolster your confidence. It’s not just about flaunting curves but taking pride in all the hard work, sweat and resistance that went into achieving it.
Our social feeds are cluttered with complex yoga poses, fit teas, detox diets and impossibly thin waistlines that subtly remind us of our body fears. But ever so often, we come across a story that's more than just a sponsored ad.

If you know supermodel Chrissy Teigen, you know she keeps it real. On Jan 18, 2017, she posted a picture of the stretch marks on her inner thighs (see below) on Twitter and everyone loved it.
She captioned the image with a simple "Whatevs". Chrissy was inundated with replies thanking her for keeping it real. Some women posted pictures of their stretch marks as an act of solidarity,
A few hours later, she followed up her original tweet with - "I do not post stretchies for the praise. I post it because the wine also I like the pattern and they're so soft."
