Take time out for a Swiss tradition at Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives...
For those of you who have not yet had the opportunity to stay in a Mövenpick property, you may not be familiar with a famed tradition that takes place in all Mövenpick Hotels & Resort worldwide.
Dubbed Chocolate Hour, Mövenpick brings a brand-new meaning to happy hour, whilst paying homage to their Swiss roots and the brand's heritage.
In every Mövenpick property around the world from 4 pm until 5 pm, Chocolate Hour is celebrated. For one hour, hotel guests are given the opportunity to partake in an exquisite tasting experience with Mövenpick chocolate variations and homemade creations.
At Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives, guests can join in the sweet celebrations in their purpose-built coffee and wine lounge, where the resort's pastry team offers a range of handcrafted chocolates and teats from their in-house confiserie.
From éclairs to brownies, truffles to chocolate fountains, plus the world-famous Mövenpick branded ice cream and coffee selections, guests can enjoy the delectable selection for free.
This delightful daily offering of treats provides the resort's chefs the opportunity to display their prowess while remaining true to the roots of the Mövenpick brand.
Using raw ingredients from around the world, only the best chocolate is sourced. The cocoa beans used in each recipe are ethically sourced, primarily from countries close to the equator to ensure a long and slow-growing cycle. The beans are then fermented, dried and then exported to the production facility.
It is there that the chocolate we know and love is created; and the process involves further roasting, mixing the cocoa mass with coca butter, refining and finally achieving the finished product.
What are you waiting for? Book your next trip to Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives and enjoy Chocolate Hour for yourself.
