Applying false lashes is probably one of the trickiest parts of doing your makeup, but it is also the most rewarding. Falsies elevate any look from drab to fab and are perfect for days you need to look extra glamorous.
One of the main issues that we face with falsies is that they are too obvious – it looks especially bad when the corner of the lash is poking out – yeah, not a good look. Also, you need to apply eyeliner to conceal the lash band – which means your falsies can never look like you have no makeup on.
This issue arises because most people apply their lashes along their top lash-line.
Did you know that your false lashes are supposed to be applied UNDERNEATH your lash line and not along the top? Yes, underneath! Applying your lashes underneath your own lashes looks far more natural and you can skip eyeliner all together as the lash band doesn’t need to be concealed.
Important tip: this method will only work with lightweight lashes – thick lashes will show exactly where they have been cut.
