Thanks Snow White and SEY83! You two are dedicated! SEY83 - I have been told that muscles retain a lot of water when worked out..3.5kgs could be some of the water weight lost. This is why they build a week or two recovery in hard core programs. Snow White - If its the lady in the fit test- I completely agree - she is hyper and sometimes it motivates me to get my fat ass moving. But many times I just want to want to kill her! I think I need more luck.. Cardio recovery even though a short one - was a complete fail on Tuesday. I have been noticing feet cramps..so much that many times I have to stop because of it instead of being out of breath or tired. Wednesday - Pure Cardio - a few minutes in and I had to stop completely. I am not sure if any of you had this issue? I know I have flat feet..maybe because of that..? Never faced this during boot camp or other circuits before.. Tonight is definitely rest..had to come to work in flats..

Hello ladies! Im so glad I saw this today.. I have been struggling to lose weight for a while. Used to be really fit because of boot camp at jbr beach with smartfitness.. one of the best I have ever done - and I have used trainers in the past as well. Sitting for 10-12 hours got me 15 pounds heavy in the past year and I haven't done anything more than climbing a flight of stairs occasionally..just try to low-carb to not put on much more weight.. Anyways..I started Insanity today..first day. Just wanted to shock my body and hope that muscle memory will help me through it. Fit test yesterday was pretty disappointing.. I used the heart rate monitor today burned about 300 calories.. It would be nice to track progress here with you ladies..thought I was the only insane one to do this!

Thank you Beebers and Feefmick! Yes I agree that only diet and exercise is the best way to go for long term weight loss. My reasoning behind this is to just take something for a month or so to give me an extra push until I get into a proper routine. So far for a month my diet is on track and I need to add exercise to the mix but with eating so little, and working late hours, I rarely find the energy/motivation to do much! And the disappointment of no inches lost leads me to binge and ruin any effort I have made. I was struggling in the past 6 months in this vicious cycle until I incorporated two cheat meals during my week. This way I allow myself to let go and not become completely antisocial either! Where would I be able to get African cocoa?

Hi! I don't post very often - just absorb a lot of good information here. I wanted to ask you something if you don't mind giving me advise on pills that would help curb appetite/hunger. I am currently three weeks into a a type of muscle sparing low calorie diet (lyle mcdonald) and have read that certain diet pills help with hunger. Can you please recommend a good replacement that I can find easily here..? The book recommends (not necessary) a combination of ephedrine and caffeine, but I am pretty sure this is not available locally and I do not want to get into trouble.. I have only seen OxyElitePro around here..that seems to be the next best thing.. TIA!

I did Level 2 day 1 (overall day 11) this morning and i have to say it was a big step up from Level 1! Abs so tight today, its going to be sore tomorrow. Wow - I wish I could manage to be so disciplined and dedicated to workout everyday! Instead I skipped two days of Shred and went shopping (walking around the mall counts?)

Slimming World is great, the food is delicious and you can still have a daily treat like a glass or two of wine or chocolate. It teaches you to eat healthy for the rest of your life and is not a fad quick fix, pile it all back on after diet. I am on it and have lost 12 pounds now since starting (just finishing my second week). You can try out their free 7 day menu online. I have sent some of the girls on EW some PDF info files and menus to get them started if you would like them also. Wow thats a huge weight loss in 2 weeks! I would appreciate the pdf files as well. Thank you [email protected]

Level 1 Day 5 completed yesterday.. does anyone alternate weights? I find 5 pounds less for the rows but more than enough for other exercises.. Going for a quick break next week..will try and continue the shred at the hotel gym!

Hello ladies.. I am not new to the forum..been lurking around and reading on alot of informative posts! Saw this shred thread and decide to join and respond. I have finally managed to get started on this program yesterday! I don't feel as sore as I thought I would be..using 5 pound weights..just worried that if I do this everyday I might bulk up! Anyone experience that before? Excited to be a part of the group!:):)
