I was a total devotee of ghd straightener -- until I recently did the brazillian blowout. Two seconds of blowdry and my hair is now straighter and smoother than it's ever been! And NO FRIZZ!!! Don't think my ghd is going to be seeing too much action any time soon... :cool: Hey did you do that at a salon or at home and using which brand?

Hi ladies , I shall be moving to join my husband who just moved to Doha on work last month . Needless to say i am very speculative of how we will adjust to a new place with our 2.5 yr old son . I couldnt think of a better place to ask for some suggestions . 1. Which is the best area to live in , in terms of being comfortable .For eg...close to hospital, pharmacy,beauty salon and most importantly a grocery store ;) 2. I need to put my son in a nursery now . He will turn 3 in Oct .So what are the options and what is the process ? Do i need to seek admissions for KG1 now ? 3. What are the general documents required if i need to join work ? I will be leaving a good job in Dxb but you gotta do what you gotta do . So i'd like to be prepared . It would be great if you can suggest some good job sites and networks . 4. Should i move all my furniture or is it better to buy stuff there ? 5. How difficult or easy is it to get a babysitter /maid ? Should i bring one along or should i scout for one from a local agency ? I dont have one at the moment since the babysitting service is good out here . 5. Lastly in terms of quality of life and things to do ..... Ive had a good time in Dxb for the 5 yrs that i was here . Not a party person but will miss the beaches , good food and great friends . Sorry if this was too long ...;)

Hi fellow mommas, 1. Can you please recommend any good babysitting agency for the Greens area ? Need their help again now since my live in maid has got to go back to her home country 2. Also are there any day time nurseries close by ? My DS is 29 mnths old and i need someone to take care of him from 8.30am until 5pm 5 days a week . I need this in 1 week and im panicking ! Cheers ....

Omigosh ! Im really scared wht the world has cme to these days .My DS is jst 27 mnths and im thinking will i be able to get him to all that once he turns 3 ... SCARY and not smething i'd push him into as well !

Thanks Tally-ho and Leshell . So what i understand now is : So now put my DS in nursery until Sep 2012 . Then i put him into KG1 in Sep 2012 ? Correct ? But he still wouldnt have turned 4 by then ?! :\:
