Hey BD, Can I ask you for a favour please. If you are not using you passes, can I get them off you. I dont mind paying pls. My sister lives on the palm and even though she has managed to get us individual passes for 4 of us (my husband, I and 2 toddlers in tow!) she couldnt get us a car pass, so we have no idea how to get to the palm. She lives in the apts and got 2 car passes that she kept one for her and one for her inlaws. Have tried calling the RTA for taxis but they have no bookings for tom :-(( Please do let me know. It will be a huge huge help. Thanks in advance

Hi Snoopy, My company has arranged a few motivational and leadership talks. We always use this one guy who works as a freelancer and is absolutely amazing. Im not that tech savy, although I do have a Kindle and an ipad separately, but not a kindle app on the ipad...can we do that? How...that would be awesome...do I need to download or purchase the app from somwhere? advise appreciated... Just go to the App Store on yr iPad and download kindle ( it's a free app) then when u check yr email that u will receive the book in on yr iPad, just click on the .mobi or .epub extension on yr email (depends on the attachment u receive the book in). It will automatically open the book in yr kindle app and save it self. Hope it makes sense. Post yr email addy and I could send you a test book.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but anyone willing to lend books? I want to read Gone Girl and Inferno but am not willing to pay AED 100 for each book as they might not be 'keepers' - I am willing to lend any of mine as well.. Hi, I have tried AB stitching a couple of times and even though their cuts are good, their timing is horrible! I have given them stuff which they kept for almost 2 months! The other stuff that they had they have lost it. So even though price might be 20 to 30dhs better than they others, the hassle is not really worth it!

1 cup of milk plus one tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar, stir it in, leave it for 10+ minutes and then stir again and you have buttermilk. You can also buy laban (the one in the milk section) as an approximation - it's a bit thicker but really nice when a recipe calls for buttermilk. Thank u so much. The Laban u mean the small cartons that say Laban up or any other type as long as it is Laban?

after researching i also read a lot about tahir imran being a good surgeon. any experience with khan or imran or viel? Hey, I am having a tummy tuck done by Dr khan this week. You are more than welcome to see the before and then ( fingers crossed) the better after. To be honest I didn't go to anyone else for a second opinion. I saw him in June and he was quite good. I think more has to do with the fact that I am finally having it done after wanting it for the longest time - I don't want to go to 2 - 3 doctors and end up confused.
