We just finished using them. They did excellent work for the price. We had two units put under the sinks, 2 baby gates, and a massive unit fitted for the linen closet. It is not expensive quality but it is quality. I would highly recommend them but would say make sure they come a couple of times to measure properly, check the quote. Also, they are a little slow at installation but they do it right..not like the other workmen you tend to find out here where they have to keep coming back just to get it right.

my 15mth DS, who is completely different from my 2.5yr old, hangs on me like a little monkey. He goes mental if I even leave the room. He is only like this with me. AHHH!!! We have dinner at 5 and he eats loads, more than my 2.5yr. I give him cows milk at 6:30pm and he goes down. At about 4:30/5:00 he wakes. Screaming non stop. I send my husband in as if DS sees me he'll want me to pick up. After about 1/2 of screaming and me fearing he is going to wake the other one up and then I'm really in trouble having them both up, we end up giving him milk (as he won't drink water). I can then put him back in his crib but he is still half awake and will wake back up at 6ish. I don't know what to do anymore. Last night up at 11:30pm gave milk back up at 4:30am gave milk at 5:15am back up at 6:15 at 7 he ate his cereal and 1/2 banana. He might be teething but the minute I bring him in bed with us he is playing around in the bed. Any suggestions. edited by MaxandMe on 11/01/2012 edited by MaxandMe on 11/01/2012

Hi Kelly1814, you can do your US taxes through turbo tax. It asks you if you reside out of the US. I am too lazy to do my own taxes. I have used a lady in UK, http://www.jillthompson.net/index.html. she is very thorough. around £600-£400. good luck

Just had my hair done with Angela (half head of highlights and a cut of 3inches off) it came out fab! I'm really happy with it. What was more surprising was when I went to pay it was 20% OFF. I couldn't believe it! They are offering 20% off for the first 3 months of opening. I have already booked appointments for New Year Eve and MIL, who is coming over for Christmas. :)

I only read Gina Ford's book. But did a little bit of her suggestions and my own. I really listened to the part to determine if they are ready. They might be ready but am I?! I had to ask myself that question too! Rewards are great and we made it a really big deal when he went. Jumping up and down, kisses, singing, etc. like barboram mentioned GF only classifies your child as potty trained if they can do everything themselves. I agree with barboram which 2yr old can do that. that is a tall order and frankly too much pressure for the LO. good luck.

with DS1, I thought I was pregnant (we weren't trying) took a test and sure enough positive. Called my DH at work and cried and told him. DS2 (try for 2nd when DS1 was 6mth) both of us didn't think it would happen that quick. Took a test 3days before period and very light positive told husband and we started laughing cause it happened so quickly. Telling the family was different. I sent big fortune cookies to my parents and sister and inside they read, "someone closed to you is expecting" & "a new addition is likely" they were over the moon. with DS2 I put a shirt on DS1 which read "I'm not monkeying around I'm going to be a big brother". It took them a while to read the shirt which was humor in itself. Cafepress.com has great shirts.

elnino I was told it was good when they cough as they are breaking it up but again I'm not a dr. go with your gut feel. believe me drs know they will see mums over and over again. my dr made the mistake of giving me his mobile 24 hrs access lol. If you feel LO is worse go back, and usually it's a follow up visit and won't get charged. good luck. it's tough being a mum. xxx

Hi elnino, I don't want to scare you but my LO had RSV bronchitis and needed to be admitted to hospital. my LO was too young to break up the phlegm so they had to nebulize him and do physo exercises but again he was an extreme case. If you are very concern there is no harm in going to your pediatrician and they can have a good look what's going on.

my DS suffered with coughs since he was 4 wks old. Bought Vicks air filter and humidifier from the UK through amazon.co.uk and sent to my shop and ship. Save tons of money and the quality is excellent and they are quite. they are brilliant. also, invested in a air free machine they are a fortune here but again if you buy in the uk you save mucho mucho money. HTA.

Spa Day! I make it a point to have a mummy day off at least once every two months. I leave the house early (after kids breakfast) and do not walk back into the house until the kids are a sleep. the park hyatt is fab for these days, as you can work out, use the pool and have your treatments late in the day. enjoy your day, it's well deserved!!!

Hi lucky4uitsme! Congratulations. For me I went on maternity leave first. I took my 45days leave plus any unused holiday, plus an addition month off of unpaid leave. That gave me enough time to decide if I wanted to go back or not. I resigned while on leave but they did not make me work my notice period. Really it all depends on who is your employer. As for visa, bear in mine that your employer first needs to cancel your visa so they'll need your passport and then your husbands co will require it again to process the new visa. WHen the baby is born you'll need your passport and husband's to register the baby and depending which country you are from to receive baby's passport. Babysteps can take care of this for you. I hope this helps edited by MaxandMe on 17/10/2011 edited by MaxandMe on 17/10/2011

I just started working part-time but probably become full time in the next few months. My question is for working mums who picks up your little one from school as FS1 is over at 1:15pm everyday. He won't be going to school close to home so my maid can not pick up. Really stressing about this. TIA
