There isn't a Nursery in JVC. The closest might be Motor City.

Basically what I experienced is that they do both to be sure they dont miss anything. Some stuff you can better see on the Ultrasound, some better on the Mammogram, they compare the findings and use both screenings for evaluation. I am monitored, so must go every 6 months.

Good friends used Freightworks last year when they relocated to Germany and were very happy.

We make good experiences with Lenovo at work. But cant recommend a specific model as it depends on your requirements.

The Gulfnews article is from May 3rd. I guess that was the evening where indeed a few drops came down...

Well, shops are around like, All Day Supermarket, Jyotis Supermarket, etc pp, various Nail Spas with massage, enough Laundrys for 10000 people^^ and the parks are ok, not falling apart. At least the one near Sandoval Gardens is fine, for jogging and so, but not yet really green. The newest addition is the Like View restaurant (similar to Eat&Drink) and the Village Circle restaurant. Yesterday there were 6 taxis parking at Atlantis Accomodation, waiting for costumer calls... We just renewed, its our 3rd year now and very very slowly there is progession. Travelling around Dubai is easy as access to Al khail and easy to 311, SZR and so on.

Please be aware, Raffles might be open. From Gulfnews - update, at the end of the list: One school -- Raffles International School -- asked to be taken off the list. edited by Unicorn36 on 05/02/2014

As far as I know you only have pool&gym in the development/building you are in. There isnt any public gym with membership etc. yet.

Here is my experience: First went to Dr. Sama too, like her a lot, very thoroughly, but saw her at Emirates Hospital in the Marina and I wasn't impressed with the Radiologist there as she didnt saw a calcification pattern wich Dr Sama saw when she looked at the Mammo. Now Dr. Sama can only be consulted at Emirates Hospital on Beach Road anyhow. Dont know about the Radiologist who is working there. I currently wait for 2nd opinion from City Hosp as well. I was told that in Dubai only Dr. Alexandra is the one working at City Hosp. who has the quali and experience and is able to give you the right diagnosis and treatment info (if needed). I for myself trust Dr Sama but need someone else looking at it to have the peace of mind in my case. Two weeks ago I nearly opened up a thread about all the breast cancer campaigns and pink days in Dubai in October and the contrary presence of Breast Spezialists or Breast Centers in Dubai! The Spezialist we have here are all overbooked...

Hi, Al Zahra is the new opened hosp. opposite Saudi German (behind ASD). I also saw Dr Jozsa on their website, nice. On the other hand I went there with my girls for different treatments, so far so good, no complains, but a lot of doctors are a bit "older ones", so they need to work on that part. Its a huge hospital... They do cover Oman. Another downside, you pay 25 AED one off for registration. Not much, but still, first time that I had to pay for registration.

Hi, we have exactly the same situation, only difference is we have more time (end of Feb) but Landlord reacts exactly the same. No, no and no. Very stubborn. I hope that some landlords will not find any new tenants once they got the old out with this behavior. Geordie: They just went with what they had and got the new contract? No hassle with translation of old contract to Arabic and opening case?

We are tenant as well, but do pay housing fee to Dewa. It went straight on the bill when we had to rent the villa ourselves beginning of March 2013... However, no clue about service charges. We like it here a lot, our townhouses are attached to an appartment house with pool, gym etc. Imho I would only invest once the building/development is finished. Most of the plots are still empty, some projects never started... Dont think that JVC will ever look like the first masterplan. In the middle of the circle should be lake with surrounding towers etc. http://www.worldfloorplans.com/floorplans/JVMasterPlan.shtml We will see if they fill the little lakes at Gate 8/Street 1 with water after Ramadan... According to the plan we should get additional gates, but again nothing happened in that direction since 2010, only Gate 8 (now Street 1 entrance) and Gate 10 (now Street 2 entrance) are open.

Just found this thread. Can anyone please share some honest feedback with children currently enrolled at Nibras? I visited the school already and have a good feeling as well, but not sure how it is "from the other side". Thank you.

Its near Diamond View 1 and Sandoval Gardens. But could happen everywhere in JVC. Plenty of half finished buildings to hide. Be careful.

Can also recommend Madhu. Have been there a few weeks ago with an inflamed molar, was a bit difficult to locate the pain, but I still have my molar and the pain is gone. He was great, very good equipment. He made the anaesthesia very careful, I couldnt even feel that he injected something . Its worth the way if you dont have it covered from the insurance. Will go there soon again, for filling and implant.

They were already two weeks ago on the little beach near Dubai Ladies Club. They have quite long tentacles, but it itches only a bit.

They have some ordinary chalkboards in Lulu, 2. floor (MOE) in different dimensions. Maybe you can cut something out?

Other thread is closed... Hmmm. I like the new style, modern... more like a magazin. What I still dont like is the forum itself, so different from already mentioned VBulletin etc with avatars and PN, but I dont think that they want to hear our views. Its the same with the content, sometimes I am wondering if there is any really helpful stuff or if its just quick written info with hidden advertisement. The only very important source is this forum and they have to update so many pages.

Hi everybody, we went snorkeling one morning this week. Its a public beach at Jumeirah Beach Road but not very common. We saw our well-known angelfishes around 50 m from beach at rocky breakwater and noticed 3 fish bow-nets in the area direct besides were the fishes just normally swimming around near the rocks. If I mention that 2 of them were already trapped you can maybe understand what we feel. Does anyone knows which Department in Dubai is responsible and giving permission for this or where I can make a complaint or whatsoever. Much appreciated. Thanks.
