Is anyone else struggling to loose weight after having this operation? I had my gall bladder removed about 8 months ago and find that even though I am not able to eat most of the food I could before (especially anything fatty), I actually gained weight. I exercise regularly and follow a good eating plan, but still don't loose any weight? It would be great to hear from anyone who had the same operation? TIA

Hi, we played at Jebel Ali Golf Club on Sat and paid AED250 per person for 9 holes including the golf cart. Dubai has really nice courses like Jumeirah Golf Estates, Emirates Golf Course, The Montgomerie, Dubai Creek. The cost varies depending on the day you play, but generally I would say about AED600-700 for 18 holes. Do you play as well?

Hi MD, thanks for posting this! We've been here since Sept 2011, also from SA and I really miss home, my family and my friends. Thank goodness for SKYPE and bbm!!!! Its been very difficult because it seems so hard to meet people in Dubai. Thought it was just us until I read so many threads on here of people experiencing this. This forum is great as you read all the wonderful advice, and it gives you hope that it will get better!! I really hope your DH finds something soon.
