I need help! My 3 kids are in WSO. The school is close to our house, we ride our bike every morning, and the kids have friends and are happy there, but, I am not sure about the school, they don t have enough homeworks and nobady check their homewors, my son in year 6 never bring a reading book ..to many kids!!! There is not enough space for them, and now we have a new building, but yesterday the school sent and email saying that they are expecting 2500 students in secundary!! Is impossible to manage a school with 4000 students. I am thinking in DESS and DESC for my kids, but I am not sure...we came to Dubai 2 years ago, my kids had a big change in their lives, and now, thininking in a new change...I don't know what to do! help please!!!

Last year, I got the bed from pottery barn as well, this year DD is asking Santa for the american girl's closet. Maybe is bettter to find a good carpenter ;).

We have places for our three kids in Deira international school and greenfield comunity school. We are in DSO, so we´re worried about the distance to GCS, and no transportation service, but we have heard that the students are non-western in DIS. What do you think? what school you prefered?

My husband will be working with emirates, he travels in March. We have 3 children, so we will accommodate in a villa. During the tour we saw the houses in silicon oasis, but now we have heard that the company no longer have homes there, will now be in another sector. you know where could it be? ... we've heard that for at Safa. How is this area? you know villas in Al Safa? We really like Silicon Oasis, do you think al safa is a good place w/children?

Thank Bambam, Your answer really helped me, because I haven´t been in Dubai, so, It is difficult to choose a school. The people in Greenfield have been very kind, and we only read good things about greenfield. I think, 20-25 minutes is an average time in Dubai to go to anywhere, so, if the greenfield is 20 minutes to Silicon Oasis, is fantastic! Thanks.

My husband was hire by emirates as a pilot.I will move to dubai with my 3 kids (9,5,2) in july, and I am looking for a school. I like the greenfield community but I don`t know how far is from silicon oasis (probably the company give us a house there). Another school is GEMS in silicon oasis, they have long waiting list? Another school is deira international school? If you can give me references about those school, it will be very helpful.

I am moving to Dubai in July. My husband will work as a Piltot with emirates.I am looking for school, and I saw uptown school, deira international, univrsal academy, GEMS Silicon oasis. Could anyone give me references for those schools? My kids are, 9, 5 and 2. Thank you!
