Given the pain you are saying your DH is in even the thought of flying would be too much and certainly would be very uncomfortable. From personal experience, I had problems with L5/S1 with the sciatic nerve being pinched earlier this year and was in excruciating pain, unable to sit for more than a few minutes for minutes, so I know what your DH is going through. I would strongly recommend Dr Amr Sarwat at City Hospital, he performed a microsisectomy and relief was great. As many surgeons will do, he tried the epidural to relieve the pain in the first instance but when that didn't work surgery was performed within days and such a relief to wake with no back pain. Then worked with hard with the physio's there and am all recovered no, so much so had not a twinge when hill walking recently for 8hours! Dr Sarwat also performed a c4/C5 disc replacement for me 2years ago, again from which I went from weeks of excruciating disabling pain to pain free upon waking from the surgery. Agree with RuthM re making your own opinion re who to see, it doesn't matte what others say, DH has to feel that the surgeon is the one for him. Ask if you can speak to other patients for their eperiences with the doc, although I didn't I just knew he was the man for the job for me. I've been asked to speak to patients following both surgeries, even met one lady while still in hospital this time. I hope your DH finds relief soon, take care

So a six month lease in each name would be needed if such a thing were possible, six months in his name, six months in sponsor name for one to renew visa earlier than needed. Or one of them ren visa now before them move and that solves these problems for a couple of years.

I did think it would raise questions, but offered to ask here as I know EW have good advice and hence asking here before anything is signed. Both work for different companies and have previously had leases in their own names now want to live together, maybe get married one day. If one used their sponsor/ company and the other had DEWA would that be a way round it? The start of the article seems to say that, but thinking that probably won't work. Random thought, If they were to get a six month lease in each others names, with one renewing visa early would that be a way round it. Trying to help a mate before I leave town.

On behalfnof a friend. What happens if you and your OH are not married? Is it ok to have both names on the tenancy contract? Given the new rules they both need to be on the tenancy agreement as visas are due, bu coincidence, for renewal same month and same year, so they can't do one year each on the lease. Thanks

Irooni, I feel your pain as have suffered similarly for many months this year. Dr Sarwat, spinal surgeon at City, following 2 epidural's performed a micro disectomy on my lower disc, this was followed with physio at City with Laura and Fran who between them all and my following their exercises am no longer in pain, can sit, stand and walk freely again. Fran gave me insight into basic core Pilates which I need to do daily to maintain snd build on the strength for my lower back. Fran also does needling which helps to kick start stubborn muscles. Unfortunately, Dr Sarwat is away back just before Eid I believe, saying that I first saw Dr Opitz at City the Ortho doctor, who is here at the moment, and he could tell straight off what was wrong and organised the MRI and referred me to Dr Sarwat. Wishing you well and pain free soon.

Think I'll go to bed as normal, but set alarm to get up at midnight and have wine and chocolate and enjoy the show. Trying to stay awake that long will not enjoy it. I'm often awake did hours in the middle of the night so at least this time for a purpose. Good luck to everyone :)

liking these ladies, please keep them coming. Have been very fortunate to have done the seaplane a couple of times, through business connections, with Seawings. So can cross that one off the list. The camel museum sounds really interesting....

Ladies, time is drawing near before I have to leave and although I have been here a good many years, this single girl knows she has not seen the best of town due to work. So today's question what are your top recommendations that one should not leave without doing? I have a few weeks left and want to make the most of them.... all suggestions welcome. Thanks :)
