Hi purpleviolet, my husband will start with QA this August. I will only join him next Apr/May though due to work commitments. I'll let you know which compound he ended up in. He already have some friends working at QA and was told that housing options are typically AKG or Holiday Villa. Another rumor is that QA is offering permanent housing again, but the housing allowance may also be revised in view of rising rental.

Will ask DH for the name. I know the guy's name is Mike (British guy) and he works out of the old Jag showroom just before the Centre and MegaMart.

Hi there, photography's one of my hobbies although I'm not a pro and I'm not due in Doha till next Jan :) But I found this thread while doing some "homework" on our Big Move, and thought I might as well get started on looking for fellow hobbyists!
