Equal parts of Bicarbonate Soda Powder (NOT baking powder as it wont work ) and salt mixed with lemon juice to make a paste apply and leave for about 20-45 mins and then good scrub with brillo will lift the grease <em>edited by Marhabaa on 02/10/2013</em>

I would recommend Al Arooj Tailors in Bur Dubai Meena Bazaar and hes surrounded by a treasure trove of fabric stores look up on facebook under Al Arooj Desi Tailor Dubai for directions and contact info. I have had over 50 suits sewn in various styles n sizes for a family wedding .He matched all the fabrics ,had dyeing done added trims etc. I know hes away this week but send a fb message - let him know salma from UK gave you details and he will look after you . He's Bareeze's recommended tailor so you cant you wrong.Good Luck :)

Does anyone know where I can buy cardboard boxes for cakes? I mean the ones that come flat and you fold into shape. Tavola has some for single cupcakes but I wanted some for bigger cakes. Thanks for your help. Daiso do them real cheap !

Hi I have 2 of the IKEA EMMABO garden rocking chairs .Unfortunately the canvas covering has ripped and IKEA dont sell replacement covers . Does anyone know where I could buy metal Moroccan / Lebanese household items from in Dubai ,without selling a kidney ? I have seen some lovely household items such as candles ,trays ,tables in a high end store in Dubai Mall but the prices seemed way over the top ... is there any goodies to be found anywhere ? thanks;)

I know its not the same as warburtons but have seen kingsmill and allinsons in Lulu's al barsha. not cheap mind at 18dhs per loaf, but its about as close as your going to get...or get someone to bring you one out!!! Good luck KIngsmill ,Allisions its all GOOD ;) do u know what day they get it in? I bring my bread and even gets gift of bread from friends in transit but always squishy and cloudiness is lost after coming out of the freezer BREAD OBSESSED!

If theres a particular hole u can see them appearing from block it up with silicon chalk ,they come through porous areas in plaster etc we had then in our bathroom just besides the taps on the bath tub .Gave them a shot of mold & mildew cleaner and then filled the tiny crack - they havent appeared since !

Your better off getting the rods as 2 sections as the full length 4m rod will dip after a while . IKEA ACE HOME CENTER all have a range of longer sturdy rods.

Fashion avenue parking but park up by the elevator, we have been a number of times with guest we cant do the long walk and this is the nearest and most convenient parking area for the fountains
