Eva, its a funny, light way of saying don't mess around. Finding someone attractive and stating it does not nessecarily mean one has been aroused. If that's the case, then everytime I watch a Jason Statham movie, I'd want some. And if someone's DH is being aroused by other women, then its time to ask some serious questions. Its about how secure one is in their relationship with their spouse.

Does it matter where they get their appetite from, as long as they come home for dinner?

natashab, from what I've heard, the embassy is also promoting slavery IMHO. They now expect the maids to send all their salary to India. Nothing here. If they spend it here, they want receipts etc. I basically told the embassy that it was not my business what my employee did with their pay and how would they like it if their employer put such restrictions on them. Apparrently, to protect employers, the new rule is the maid must not ask for a day off, etc. Just so you know it is not just the initial processes. Once the maid arrives you have to take her to the embassy where they inform her about all these things. When you want to cancel her visa, you have to take her back to the embassy, with evidence of her salary being paid and I believe now evidence of money being transferred to India. You have to go back to embassy when she has left the country to apply for return of the deposit and then it takes up to 3 weeks for it to be returned.

Honestly, the indian embassy procedure is tedious. I've been through it. However, we did realise after, that the entire process is based on the employee requiring the ECNR stamp. When our maid came into Dubai, the people did not even know what the papers were. Some friends have not bothered with the process. It isn't really a law or a federal requirement but a local requirement of the embassy here, from what we can tell, but this is our opinion and we may be wrong. Not sure how well they (the Indian Consulate in Dubai) have coordinated with the authorities in India. Anyway, the process you've mentioned sounds correct. First make the visa, take the visa and required documents to embassy with deposit and guarator to submit application. We collected the next afternoon. She can fly in after that. They don't do anything with the visa, but for this process, you need to get the visa attested if I remember correctly.

Not all foster pets are from K9 and FF. In fact OP does say she found one near a dustbin. I think it is brilliant of her to have taken in these animals and try to rehome them. Many people will just walk past and leave these poor animals to fend for themselves or worse die on the street. Moo Moo, good on you for doing this. And even better for trying to find homes for the animals before you leave. Many people won't even bother. I do hope you find them homes. We have just managed to rehome 2 kittens that we had found on the street. Have you tried dubizzle. We got an amazing response for the kittens. Good Luck.

Hi homegal... Do you know how long will it take from the 2nd sittings with the "family councellor" and the time when you go in front of the judge? It takes about 2 - 3 weeks.

If mutually agreed, then it takes about two months. First, you have to submit a document to show intention to divorce, include a translated copy of the country law by which they were married (if not Dubai). There are two sittings with "family councellors". The meetings with the councellors are two weeks apart. But really this is a formality. After this you go in front of the judge to sign the divorce agreement. One month later (during which time the agreement may be contested by either party) you collect the final documents and your free.

Couldn't finish my post earlier as something suddenly came up. I try and make sure in every snack box there is a variety that includes veggies, fruit, a treat and a main meal. Include water and juice / milk. For juice, try and buy the ones with less sugar and more natural pulp type juices instead of the concentrates. Sandwiches can also be in the form of pinwheels, different breads provide variety. If you use a white bread and a brown bread on the same day, you can cut out a shape from the center and pop the shape in to the sandwich with the other colour. Hope that makes sense. Basically, white bread cut out goes into brown bread and vice versa. Other options - French toast, Grilled sandwiches, Cutlets are a great way to get kids to eat veggies. These can be made in advance, frozen and then fried / baked in the morning. Pasta / noodles also can be done in a variety of ways. White / cheese sauce, tomato sauce or plain boiled with veggies / meat balls / ketchup. Different colour / shape pastas. Rice - mushroom, peas, tomato, sausage etc. Ok, I've to run away again. Hope all the responses you've received are good enough to get you started.

I am assuming you are not from India so the train ride might get a bit tedious depending on which class you travel and which train. Thought I'd give you a few leads. But I haven't been to delhi in a long while, so its best you also recheck the information below and make sure its worth going there now. Delhi Zoo Garden of 5 seasons has a solar run train Colour factory (www.thecolourfactory.in) Rail museum (has / had a real minature sized steam train you could ride) Fun and food village (I've never been, but heard its a water and theme park) Planetarium Deer park Be alert with your kids and belongings - keep them close. There are pick pockets in most of the tourist spots. I don't mean to put you off but just be cautious. Have fun.

Unless you are a looking for a specific type of holiday, considering you have 2 young children, why not pick another place in India such as Bangalore. There's tons the kids can do in and around bangalore which by the way also has shacks and cows. HAL Aerospace Museum (www.hal-india.com/heritage.asp) Doodle den Claytopia Martin Farm (get to live on a farm, feed animals, lots of place to play. Owned by a lovely family. Non-commercial) Bannerghatta National Park Mysore zoo (4 hours drive from Bangalore) Nrityagram-Dance Village

Why be one vegetable. Dress as King / queen of vegetables. Wear green clothes and make a crown of vegetables. Veg that are light and hang like spring onions, nicely washed lettuce leaves, strips of carrot etc. - tie them on a ribbon and place around DS / DD head. Other ideas - Braclet of beans strung together. I dressed as the queen of veg. for a fancy dress competition when I was little and won first place. Loved the idea and dressing up. Hated most of the veggies. :) BTW - the weather is perfect for this as the veggies won't wilt of spoil as easily. But check how long your child has to wear the costume. With my costume, it was easy to get out of. I basically took off the veggies when we were done and stayed in my shiny green clothes. Loved being queen. Also had twins come as Two Peas in a Pod.
