I have recently used Homely Petz to look after my cats. They are brilliant. I think they are the only fully insured pet sitters too x They are fully insured? Are you sure? They are fully licensed so I would think they would have to be fully insured to get a license? Also members of international pet sitting bodies. [url=http://www.homelypetz.com/#/who-are-we/4531801339'>link[/url'> Fully licensed yes, but just because they have a license doesn't mean they are insured. Where have they stated they are insured and what for? Ask them and see what they say ;)

If you are worried about the regular Dubai taxis then have a look at Careem. They are slightly more expensive but for my piece of mind, especially if I have been out drinking I use them. All the drivers are tracked and no money changes hands as it is changed to a credit card on your account. Meaning no lost wallets as the driver will be traced but more importantly 'everything' is logged by the company.

I borrowed a friends Ergo carrier and my DH borrowed another friends Stokke carrier. Out of the 2 the Ergo won hands down, so much so that once we were back we bought 2 for future use. Baby souk.com sell them. We took one car seat on the flight (in the middle seat) and checked the other one into the hold, we wrapped the car seat ourselves in the plastic wrap before checking in. Why have KLMsaid that you won't get a bassinet, is it something that they will allocate on check-in? The water restrictions still stand for when you go through security but if you are air side and camping out in a lounge you can take that water onto the plane. That is what we did, we used boiling hot water to mix the formula so that by the time we took off it was cooled enough for the babies to drink. You can ask the cabin crew to heat things up in water, for example I witnessed another passenger give a pouch to the crew to heat in hot water. It's the hot water they use for tea/coffee so I a sure they wouldn't mind providing you with some if you are mixing etc I found the crews very helpful with the babies and feeding. :) Happy travels

Hi little_zuzu We recently travelled to the UK with our twins the best advice I can give you is use baby carriers as its no fun holding a 9kg baby while trying to carry your hand luggage etc. Are you planning on taking a car seat on the flight? We bought an extra seat as there is no gurentee of getting 2 bassinets which we put the car seat in. Re feeding, mine are also on formula - we didn't take any made up just the formula measured out in bottles so all we had to do was add hot water. We fed them in the lounge and then made up the feeds for take off before leaving the lounge. I normally give them homemade food but for the purpose of this trip we tried Ella's kitchen pouches, not 100% successful but it was only one meal they missed and anyway it's still the formula that is the most important thing. Emirates do provide food for the babies if needed, if you have the extra seat you are also entitled to a children's meal if your 2 are able to manage firmer foods. Who are you flying with? I tried to keep to their normal routine as much as possible but things don't always go as planned, on our return trip neither of my girls slept (night flight) which was hard work, I found walking around the plane with one in a carrier really helped as they were getting bored and frustrated in the seat/bassinet. Happy travels x

Hi Bex Congratulations on your twin pregnancy. I am a mother of twins that were born last year at City Hospital. They were born at 32 weeks so spent some time in the NICU. I cannot give you a complete breakdown of costs as both twins needed different care but for the 2 weeks that they had care they clocked up over 100k each, eye watering if we didn't have insurance. Thankfully we had insurance for them. We use Aetna insurance as I was covered by AXA but my husband switched his as they provide you with new born cover, even if its the dad only on the policy (he did this 3 months before I gave birth) Have a look at Aetna or leave the country, if you stay and your twins are born early the last thing you want to do is worry about money when your babies need the care. Wishing you a healthy and Long pregnancy. X I have Aetna as well but they do have a 12 month waiting period for new policies, also their NICU limit is USD 100,000 only. Perhaps they have changed their policies since last year which is a shame, my husband took out his policy in April and qualified the NICU cover and our babies were born in June. It's scary to think what would have happened without the cover.

misabela, are you talking about the townhouses or villas? If villa, we have the 3 bedroom one that we need to move out in may as we are relocated to qatar, it is corner plot close to park, and no construction around us. If interested let me know, our landlord fantastic, the villa has been landscaped, and he gave us a really great price which am sure he could extend to you. Let me know. Tia75, how much do you pay? If mislabela isn't interested I would be. When are you relocating?

Sorry to bring you bad news - Amenities will be built in the form of shops, schools etc but no space has been singled out for community pools. The community areas are the parks and courts.

I have been using www.zooplus.com and www.petplanet.com for years to ship cat treats in. Amazon is also good. All through shop and ship - customs haven't had a problem.
