Hi, We are also considering a villa in this compound. Can anyone tell me how long it would take to get to Doha College in West Bay during morning rush hour? I hear traffic is horrific!

Does anyone here live in Riviera Gardens? We are moving to Doha next month and we are trying to finalise accommodation before we get there. I had a few questions that i needed to ask before we sign a contract. Would love to hear from any Riviera Gardens' residents. Many Thanx!

Hi Ladies, we are moving to Doha in August (my husband will be there next week) and we are desperate for a place at Al Jazi. I will be teaching at DC West Bay and my kids will be going to school there. We have spoken to someone over the phone by the name of Nazir and he says that there is nothing available at the moment but there may be something coming up. Am I speaking to the right person there? Can either of you give me tips on how I could possibly secure a villa at Al Jazi or if you know anyone intending on vacating. Any help would be greatly appreciate. Many thanx!

Thanks for all the info ladies. Sdc, my boys will be going into Reception and Year 3. We would absolutely love a place at Al Jazi but the agent there told my husband that there was a wait list but to keep checking back. I don't want to take the risk and wait then find there's nothing at Al Jazi and I've missed out on other alternatives. Would be so grateful if you could let me know if u hear of anyone vacating. i Will definitely keep trying though. Wish me luck!

Thanx for the quick replies ladies. Yes will definitely wait til I get there for the uniforms (although now BEDH's experience has me a little worried) but will get shoes, stationery and lunch bags sorted from here. Really looking forward to the move but just so much to do. A little off topic - my kids will be at DC West Bay. Can anyone recommend good compounds within a 10min drive? Considering Riviera Gardens. Any experiences with this compound?

Hi, my 2 boys will be starting in Primary at DC in September. We won't be arriving in Doha til mid August so trying to get as much organised as I can before I leave home. With regards to school bags, do we have to buy DC school bags or can kids carry any type of school bag?
