Jumeirah Islands Club is very reasonable, you could also try the polo club at Arabian Ranches. I know the Sheraton at JBR is a lot cheaper than most hotels.

Thank you for the feedback ladies, I am not qualified and have never worked in a nursery before. I wouldn't need a place/discount as my DS is in Year one. Good to know the amount is roughly the going rate.

H & M, New Look, Matalan and Lindex all at MCC have plus sizes. If you have a shop and ship account use www.simplybe.co.uk and www.macys.com Why Not have a look online or take pics of stuff you like and have it made in Satwa in your size?

The purpose of the thread was to see if anyone else had been to CF and was also feeling unwell. We certainly don't have food poisoning but we have had poorly tum and feeling of sickness. This could be due to a number of things. Thank you for your concern. Pikachu - what do you mean by "not sure the title of this thread is fair" in what way?

I am really new to this but I went to Satwa last month and asked a taylor to copy a dress and he said it would take at least 6 weeks (it was only a simple cotton shift dress). So I did not go ahead with it. Can you tell me how long you waited to have your dresses made? Thanks so much. I use Hamid at Dreamgirls in Satwa, maybe 2-3 when not too busy but can be 4-6 weeks when very busy

The most cost effective way to have a dress made is buy a sewing machine and make your own. :) yes, because we are all domestic godesses and can sew, knit, crochet, knit blah blah blah

I think everbody joins twitter for their own reasons, celeb gossip, keeping in touch with friends and to promote business. There are A to Z list celebs and other non descript people and you can choose who you want to follow. Thats why its called a social network, it should not be used as a defamatory environment. Freedom of choice is a good thing.

I didnt say I didnt like Manchester Jane, I just hate the airport as every trip back home there is one problem or another, nobody to ever help you when you need it, blah, blah, blah. I have had many a memorable or not so memorable night out in Manchester, it has great bars and seen some awesome gigs at the MENA. x:)

ok ladies so shall we start the club in Sept ? As I am sure with the school holidays and vacations planned it may be hard to get a fixed time and day organised. All who are interested please email me at [email protected] with times and days that you are available and how often you would like to meet.I would of thought a once a month meet maybe but please say if you think otherwise. I think maybe a smallish group to start with say 6-10 people as it then gets hard to organise. Looking forward to hearing from you avid readers.
