My 6 wo has a small red lump appearing from his belly button. The belly button has previously healed well and no issues until a few days ago.I think it might be a Granuloma or a Hernia but not sure yet. I have 2 questions: Does anyone have any experience of this? Can anyone recommend a good pediatrician who can treat this or in general? Insurance not yet processed and want to get my baby seen to ASAP.

Hi - I have a small baby and not ready to go to work outside of the home yet, I was wondering if there is work you can legally do in Dubai from home? I haven't heard of data entry positions or anything in the UAE but perhaps someone has some idea?

I was told my baby's gender by my Doctor here in Dubai a few months ago without even asking! Whats more annoying was that she actually got it wrong and I was corrected by the Technician at a later scan.

Horrible situation! Hope you can work it out but just wanted to add as there are some varying responses and advice below - you can go to jail for a bounced cheque!! I have a friend who ran into difficulties with a former employer, bounced a rent cheque and was sent to jail for 3 months in Ajman before being deported back to his home country. So it does happen! Thanks Marroosh and BintyBibbs - I am a convert Yes since 1 year but I just recently started to feel ready to take on my learning process outside of my home. So far I managed with the help of friends and online, but I want to meet some like minded sisters also and to start Arabic so that I can read Quran properly (also looking for beginners Quran and/or any support groups/events for new muslims to increase my knowledge). I spoke now with Kalemah they said its not possible to start any classes until September which is disappointing. I think I will try to go to Al Farooq Centre, I saw on their website that beginners Arabic is 3 times a week. Do I have to go all 3 times or is it the choice of 1 of the 3? Have tried to call them but no answer! Al Manar told me to come on Sunday AM to speak to Miss Aisha. Do any of you have a contact for Jumeirah Islamic Centre as they are also not replying! I used GoTours this week after the advice below and they were excellent! Book online + pay by CC, or reserve a seat and pay on the day. They leave each morning from Marina Mall. I ahd a great time and was back within 4 hours. The driver was excellent and v professional. Defo recommend them!
