I had done hyno birthing with Simone Burke and I highly recommend it ! I was the most paranoid person about hospitals, labour, needle and blood before this course ! The confidence and knowledge I gained from this course was immense. Hypno birthing is not something hippy or whacky ! To me it is just clearing the misunderstanding about labour and hospitals. It is going back to the evolution where labour used to be calm. One of the most important knowledge I gained from this course about our human body that is we have 2 nervous system – sympathetic nervous system which releases fear and parasympathetic which releases confidence. Both will not work simultaneously. Labour is very much overhyped by hospitals and many already moms that we go to labour with fear. This explains why many ladies say the pain was uncontrollable and loosing ones own mind.
Hypno birthing may or may not decrease pain but it makes you bold, fearless and calm which was excellent. My doctor and midwife was really shocked by how calm I was in labour and said this is not how a first time mum is.
Burjeel Hospital is excellent and Dr Aruna Kumari is Head of Department over there. Dr Nayana Kumari in NMC is Brilliant ! I heard Brilliant reviews of Dr Tank from a friend.
I saw an equipment which is on sale now. Philips lumea where u can do hair removal on ur own. It costs dhs 3200. Sounded more economical and not painful either.
u can hit the gym- mary is a fabulous trainer who works in fitness first in safeer mall sharjah. or else go for hypno weight loss session with rachel foy in holistic institute. or try weight loss with rashi choudhary. hope this helps

hey thanks for your reply but unfortunately i couldn't understand what you meant. When u said u are a Doula did u mean to say u are midwife ? Do u you personally know someone who has done hypnobirthing with Rachel Foy? I would like to speak to know of their experience as i don't want to take up hypnobirthing where at end, it was of no good and just a waste of money.

pthe best is THAI TERRACE : Try their tom yum soup, steamed fish, fish in chilly sauce, prawn spicy fried rice ... the fish is cooked fresh taken from aquarium in front of us :)
