Hi Artemis2, I have been taking Biotin since 6 months now as hair & nails supplement. I can tell the difference after first 2 months myself.

I would recommend Dr.Joy's. I have been taking my kids there for last year. stay away frm Drs. Nicolas; they are way expensive & least concerned about quality of service.

Hey Busybee2, Thank you for the input. Do you have any idea about a reasonable salary/ per month for a single professional?

Hi Nona, Thank you for the kind reply. Well, I am single, so will be sponsored by my Govt. employer. I know about ramadan issue, yet they keep telling us we have to wait as its under process! So, fingers crossed sth comes up after ramadan, as it is really depressing to keep waiting.

Hi Nona, Congrats for the good news & happy to hear that political conditions do not affect the work permit/visa issuing. As I am in the same shoe of ur husband, can I ask how long did you guys have to wait till u got the visa ? Wishing u a smooth transfer!

Thank you Happy-feet for the input. Well I hold both degrees as DDS and MSc. My post in Doha is a Medical Manager. Both certificates were submitted as part of the documents required by the employer HR. Yet, cnt find a reason for such delay!

Aspenmom, u will need the Applicatioin number which is only given to HR personnel in order to track the visa. I wouldnt ask for it as this might raise a flag of trust between two parties. However, I understand ur frustration. My UAE residence visa will expire soon while I have conveyed this to HMC management. All I got was, sorry we are still waiting for ur visa!

Aspenmom, I believet hat u shouldnt get to that step (passport entry and nationality) until the visa itself is approved. Lalala, I am not sure if it is within HMC itself as I have received an email from the head of department within HMC informing me that they have followed up with the Immigration office. They were informed that the visa is still under process. Some ppl say that female visa takes longer than that for male?! I am not sure who to believe now :(

Sanap- The credentialing happens first thing after signing the offer letter. Then, it i smandatory to provide the reference letter and yes they do check in a formal communication(form-email) sent to each employer to verify. Based on my exp, visa process is taking me 2.5 months and still in process! I dnt understand at all why issuing such single entry visa takes this long! Ramdan will surely slow down the whole matter, yet fingers crossed for u and family to get things no time!

I can sense the frustration of waiting there. I was told the same and I am more than 2 months with no offer letter yet (in process - as I was told)!!! As my fried told me (he works there) - it has nothing to do with the status (single or with family) - more of how soon they want you in. All the best!

Sanap, been away for long vacation - now back:) For certain reason,my documents got lost somewhere within HMC, resubmitted the necessary to rcv offer letter this week; as promised it will be after eid. The offer letter was supposed to be sent to me early Sept, but now we r going towards end October.Time flies by and it is just unpleasant to keep waiting! I wouldnt resign till I hve my visa issues in Qatar-I know that this takes alot of time! patiencew, it must be frustrating with no sufficient information about the accomodation. I think I will be in your shoe soon (not happy to have 2 of us with no clear clarifications about this). edited by Rosette on 22/10/2013

Hey everyone! I know that this ia an old topic, but I have just been contacted by HMC for a senior managerial position. I would appreciate any feedback regarding couple enquiries: 1. What is Grade 113 like? 2. Does the top management have a STRICT Salary range that they hve to stick to (Governmental budget) or, is it all decided by the top management of the Hospital who interviews u ? Any previous experience is highly appreciated.
