Dear Friend, This is my opinion. I live in Dubai for 8 years and explored a bit. All you need is a Person with car who knows in and out of Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi.
If you reach guides and tourism companies then it will end up costing a lot. I will give you some cultural places to explore..You can get the list of other places just from tour companies.

Big bus - Dubai, Abu Dhabi - this bus goes around city often. you just need to go to pick up point.
