Congrats on your pregnancy u must be over the moon. this is our 5th cycle at Fakih, the second one gave us our daughter but we've been unlucky ever since, so frustrating! I'm not familiar with IMSI what is it? Do you mind me asking what the issue is with your husband as I'm beginning to think it was a fluke us getting one child! My husband had undescended testicles as a child and didn't have an op to correct it till he was around 6 by then I guess a lot of damage had been done. All the cycles before this one, the most he had was about 12 sperm, this cycle all the samples have come up with nothing! We've frozen my eggs and the plan is for him to have micro Tesa end of April, talk about dragging it out!
Hi rose79 I'm in the same situation as you, my FSH has always been on the high side, started cycle 5 at fakih ivf last week trying for baby no 2, my bloods showed a level of 14.6 that's the highest it's been, last cycle in sep it was 12.6. My dr didn't seem at all worried about the rise or the level. Apart from the first cycle I've always had pretty good no and quality of eggs 10-15, so I don't know if FSH is always a good marker of ovarian reserve. I've not tried acupuncture as we have no choice but to do ivf due to male fertility issues. Why don't you see the drs at Fakih ivf? Their customer service and communication leaves a lot to be desired at times but they have state of the art technology and seem good at what they do.
Hi ladies can I join your group pse. I'm currently on my 5th ivf cycle at Fakih ivf chasing baby number two. It will be nice to chat to other people going thru the same thing. I'm on day 9 of stims, on the highest dose of menopur and feeling pretty rough with it! Thinking ER may be early next week sometime, to be honest can't wait for it all to be over!
