Hi, I shall try to give you some answers: 1. Excellent, it is government company, and working hours are good (7.30 -15 h), lots of free days per a year, salaries are ok, based on the position, they give house and some of the school fees (but sometimes can resemble a dinosaur, regarding organization and the way it operates, but improving). 2. since they provide a house (rent is the biggest expense here), and 22000 QR per a kid older then 5 years (British schools cost more), the salary should be sufficient for a nice life. 3. very difficult, sometimes easier to get in a school after half of the school year, around spring, since some kids leave and a place may show up...as compared to September... 4. not that I know of, but they have special rates in some banks etc (if you are taking a car loan, personal loan, buying furniture, gold...it is good to ask if they have an offer for HMC people) 5. should be easy, but may take some time, for us it was 2-3 months good luck!

Hi, you can buy water cooler (to install on the roof), we have one, it is costly (if I remember right it was 3000 QR), but worth it... you could Google it yourself, we had some people coming and putting it up...fan I would not recommend, since fires are very common here, and anything spinning can cause it...I do my washing morning time, or later in the evening, water from this cooler also is not totally cold, but is ok to have a bath and wash your hands during the day :-)

Hi, unfortunately this school has no busses, so kids mostly go with their parents, or by a taxi (limousine service, costs about 120 qr for a day, if a mother goes also from home to school and back, twice a day, leaving kids with unknown male can be degerous) ….there is some private company providing transportation for this school, but our kids are no longer using it, since they have small vans not regular minibuses, and that is dangerous for transporting children (no emergency exit, bad AC, etc)…so, your car or some taxi… plus, there is road block due to road construction around the school and finding parking is a true nightmare.
