I chose jumeirah int'l nursery, downtown for my son and I've been impressed with them ever since. The facilities and the staff is really good. Lots of other mums with infants too keep raving about their experience. As for the number of days, jumeirah nursery has the option of 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week. I have opted for transportation for my son as well, which the nursery provides.

My son goes to Jumeirah int'l nursery @ their Downtown branch, and having visited several nurseries before choosing them, we thought their fees quite similar to other decent nurseries. We are very happy with the staff, facilities, and my son is very happy going there. I would never compromise on quality and a safe environment for my child at any cost, and Jumeirah nursery is worth every penny I would say.

Haven't been myself, but I had friends who did and they said it became less about the exercising and more about the socializing :-/ i'm wondering who your friends b/c their info is not accurate. honestly this is the best gym in dubai. they've got over 42 group exercise classes the most of any in dxb and i've been a member at fitness first, bodyworx, circuit factory ...u name it. i'm fitness junkie so fitness is my main priority. a lot of the events at Tribe are fitness events like rpm marathons, running challenges, bootcamp challenges, etc. but Tribe also has a great buzz. crowds super friendly and i've made loads fo friends there as well. so if one can make friends and get super fit i'm not complaining. hope this helps. try it to see if its worth it. that's really the only wya to find out. :) edited by fatimah on 06/10/2014

Personally i think Jumeirah Intl Nursery provides a wonderfully safe environment for children. My son attended from 10 months, he is now nearly 2yrs old and all the staff have helped him grow and learn and created a safe and nurturing envuronment. In short JIN is supportive, friendly, safe and engages parents in their child's development.. If number two ever comes along, we will be back!! :) edited by fatimah on 11/05/2014

I discovered this new hip gym in the Dubai Marina area called Tribefit. They have a great deal with PT programs where there’s like a package and the more sessions u book, the more money u save and since youre looking to be with a PT for 2 or 3 months my advice would be to go for their package. Ive also never trained with a PT before until recently and im seeing such amazing results in so fast. You simply don’t get that kind of push when u work out alone. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Hey amazingdxb! I assume youre from Dubai Marina if youre looking at Tribefit and Fitnessfirst. I used to be a member at fitness first but have recently switched to tribefit. At first, it was just cause it was closer but I was blown away by the gym! The equipment was topnotch and they have 3 times the number of classes going on compared to FF! the PT’s are also spot-on! And it’s really different. Everybody knows everybody, it’s sorta like a community. Ive been a lot more motivated going to the gym lately. Maybe I’ll see u there! XO

Jumeirah International Nurseries (JINS) is a good place for your child. My 1 year old & 2 month old go to JINS Southridge in the Burj Downtown area and they are loving it! The facilities are huge with massive grassed outdoor play area, large classrooms, many educational teaching aids and a full team of teachers. like the fact that JINS has many branches and a stable management. Big plus. all in all i'm a happy camper. it's worth checking JINS out.

Hi lisylou! My name is Linda! We’ve recently moved to Dubai as well, and I truly understand your dilemma, as we were in the same boat few months ago. Like u we went to a lot of diff schools in our area and what really stood out was Regent International School. Both my husband and me were taken by was how accommodating the staffs were and how happy and engaged the children were when we took the tour. My biggest concern was how my kids would fit in, missing their friends back home, but they actually adjusted pretty well with all the students. It is really nice how well settled my kids are and they seem to be genuinely excited to be there. Anywy, hope that I did help you with your concern. Ciao! :)
