181 views and not ONE message of condolence for all those who were killed in this tragic accident? Not the topic for you to be judgemental and try to rouse ! The local Facebook groups , aviation groups are pouring with condolences and support. Also the news outlet pages. It is a horrific tragedy and prayers to the loved ones who are in immense pain now over this.

Within 120 hours of the act, you can use a high dose of the combined contraceptive pill as an emergency measure with little risk. You need sufficient of your brand to give 100mcg oestrogen and 50mcg progesterone and to take two lots of this dose 12 hours apart. Do not consider this if you have previous blood clot problems. OP - look into Marvelon. Ask your Dr about the dosage and if it's ok for you. It is in pharmacies

Call your gynecologist as soon as you can. They will recommend dosage /type of birth control that works as a plan B. The sooner the better but it is most effective within 48 hours

Once the trust is gone that's it. You are employing people to assist in making your everyday life less stressful. When someone you employ is adding to the stress and making you uncomfortable in your own home ( with children !) there are no excuses. This would not be tolerated in any other office / employment. Op you did the right thing for your home and are probably shaken up about it. Im sure you feel a weight lifted now. Hoping your doing well.

Point is that she wants her to leave and she is refusing and making threats. That is why the op came on here. Not for judgement ( hence why she may have not detailed what lead to this ) but solutions ! Op - you do not owe her 5 months salary and if you feel unsafe or she is refusing to cooperate you are within legal right to call the police.

Good morning Can anyone recommend a morning powder drink that is close to natural ( for a clean eating beginner ) and does not need milk ? One that I do not need to order online. I'm trying to eat cleaner and healthier with minimal sugar. I know juicing is the best option but I need another option as well during the week. Thank you

If it is that terrible why are those of you who are so miserable still here ? I am sincerely asking as I am unfamiliar with the contracts , etc. Can't you relocate to your home countries ? Asia? Many airlines are hiring. It just does not seem worth it to be so miserable

you say you have come to Dubai before yet: - you know the name of "the ranches" but you don't know the name of Sheikh Zayed Road.... (named after the late king and most prominent figure here) - you know that the churches are mixed in race but you don't know that all women can wear abayas, and jalabiyas... Yet you say you have been here? Had you not seen what people were wearing?? - You say you are from the country, yet you are admit to live on the beach which are in the busiest areas of town... - you say you have been here, yet you clearly didn't notice that Dubai is a city like any other in the world. Thus if you have a house on the beach which has a yard, why on earth wouldn't you be able to put a pergola, or a tent, or a bbq, or even a statue of a rabbit there??? Its your yard!! I'm so confused by this thread. If you are indeed real you have very skewed perspectives on Dubai and perhaps even the whole world outside your small town bubble.... Yeah, indeed, Tessa if from such a deep countryside that no one delivers to them, so poor woman has to cook every day for her CEO husband who works in a very successful company, probably also located in the countryside with no restaurants there. And now they must live on the beach! This thread is keeping me and my collegues amused for hours. But on the delivery topic have a look on google maps for Stonehaugh, Northumberland. We don't have any deliveries there. Poor us :( What a lovely place to live GE. Wild Northumberland, I'd say it's worth the inconvenience of no deliveries to live in such a special place. ? It is lovely thanks and well worth the inconvenience. Everyone helps each other and if you run out or forget to by something, especially in winter there is always someone there who can help you out. BUT is there someone who will wipe your sunglasses ?!?!?!

"""There is a reason stereotypes exist from an anthropological perspective.............. Just saying. I can see the excitement and am as susceptible as the next person to a day lounging beside a pool with a waiter bringing cocktails and cleaning my sunglasses - but notball the time. Amazed my thoughts are so controversial!"""" No, your not amazed. If this is truly your view of expat ladies here you would not seek out thier advice. Your thoughts are more insulting than controversial and you know that because you keep posting these blanket stereotypes towards the end of most of your posts even when it's been pointed out

Hiccups - exactly. This is where my pan Arabia remark sprouted from. That and the other thread asking if Catholic Churches only have phillipinos and Indians attending ?! Fear of living next to D list celebrities and people using the public beaches , becoming a lady who does nails/ facials to fill her day, the stereotypes go on and on. I truly feel if you asked these questions and raised these concerns on here than this really is not the place for you. And really it is one thing for insight on these forums but a lot of these questions are easily found online such as dress code and if English language movie theaters here exist. You lived in Ethiopia and Rwanda. With all the background and information concerning you wouldn't a visit here appease all this? Once again I understand posters reaching our on here for other insights but some of the blanket stero types are what is raising red flags. If I am off than apologies. If you take this as an adventure and like others aspects in life do not have very high expectations you most likely will be pleasantly surprised. One of the characteristics I enjoy here is that you can never be bored. There is always something going on here and so many different sides to this city.

I'm going to be very frank. I don't think you should move here. I love living in Dubai but I'm adventurous and very flexible. I'm also carefree. Just a different personality. I understand your full of questions and by your posts extremely well planned ( even for your adult children- ️️lucky them! Sincerely) . But sometimes even ordering pizza delivery here can be frustrating for many. It takes adjusting. Your life in UK seems much more suitable for you and I'm not so sure you will come close to that here. It's a very transient place. I can assure you that you will meet fascinating people though. Edited to add - your life in the UK sounds ideal !

The stars were given by the amount of "likes" your posts received but I think it is no longer a working function Well if that's the case blondie007 maybe we shouldn't like your posts as you have 4 stars. ha ha. But seriously though if it is no longer a working function then they should take it down altogether. If it is working and rated by 'likes' then what would be the purpose of that to online users ? It's not a competition - lol The admin posted that it is still functioning As for purpose it's like Facebook Liking / agreeing with a post it sentiment

I have lived in Dubai 11 years and I must admit this is the first time I have actually felt frightened here, I don't know why.....no reason, just do. I have been here over 10 and this is also the first time I feel nervous. Just a feeling. However I read a lot of comments in the local papers here about the UAE participating in lighting the landmarks in the French flag colors and It verifies my concerns. The anger and aggression in a lot of the comments is frightening.

We live in Doha and have had fighter jets flying over our tower for some months now. However I do feel safe but where is 'safe' nowadays? We live in a huge multicultural city in UK (which we love) but I am fearful for everywhere because of recent global atrocities. Our children are over there my husband is over here. A dilemma a lot ex pats find themselves in. I had included some information about different factions residing here but have deleted my comments before admin do, (sure you get my drift!). Good luck with everything whatever you decide. I missed your post but would like to know

Nbar is good but their nail technicians gossip too much among each other and sometimes cut corners when they think you are not watching what they are doing. Nstyle is more expensive but their nail polish colour selection is a lot better. You have to make an appointment through a hotline number though and its annoying. I just want to call a salon when I make an appointment! Both salons are good with nails. I had the same issues at NBar. It was not relaxing at all as the technicians working there gossip nonstop (very loudly) and you have to watch them consistently because they rush to finish you and cut corners. NStyle hotline is annoying but it is a calmer and more relaxing setting. The technicians there know their trade but it is more $ Try the one is town centre

i've tried quite a few chocolate cakes around town and my favorites by far are the chocolate custard cake in Chikalicious in Village Mall and the chocolate chip cookie cake at Home Bakery in Galleria Mall! Both have great texture and taste! Based on your username and that this thread is nearly a year old it's obviously an advertisement. Your not doing the company any favors by deceiving for business
