Hi ladies, We are moving out of dubai soon and I have no idea where do i get boxes to pack our belongings. Yet I wouldn't like to have the job done by a packing/moving company, I hope I can save money and cope myself as we don't have a lot of things. If you could recommend a shipping company from Dubai to Auckland with approximate charges that would be just great too. Please check moving reviews before confirming with any Moving Company .

Don't feel that you will have to buy everything new. There are great bargains to be had buying things second hand as people are always moving. Dear plum2, I will be getting in touch with you when I get into Dubai because I definitely will be needing household goods. Thanks. 1. The Emporium UAE is good place to buy second hand furniture ,we get Antiques & Vintage type here.. visit their facebook page for more detail .https://www.facebook.com/theemporiumuae/ . 2. http://www.ikea.com/ae/en/ is also a good place for kitchen items and home decor etc .

Hi ladies, Apologise for not replying. Not logged in for few days. Many thanks for all your suggestions everyone. I will make note of the names and numbers. @Elladubai Many thanks for your advice. I've already started decluttering over the summer have a few bits to get rid of which am sorting out atm. I cannot believe how much we have kept and thinking we might need it later. We had to be ruthless. I've taken onboard your advice. Many thanks really appreciate it. One last thing to add. Has anyone heard or used Atlas Movers. Any experience good or bad with them? TIA i think you should read some moving reviews http://movingreviews.org/ or something like that ... you will get moving quotes form different movers by filling the form www.localmoversuae.com . wishing best luck for your move :cool:
