Try Jumeirah Centre on Jumeirah Beach Road, there is a shop selling safes on the ground floor, near costa. They have a good range in terms of size and price.

Hi, Jordan was amazing, we used a local company and our guide Nabil was AMAZING, contact him directly https://www.facebook.com/nabil.abeda I would think twice about visiting Iran, lovely country, but I wouldn't go there now, if you are likely to visit USA for work or pleasure.

You can find Pre-natal classes on [url=http://www.marhabayoga.com/timetable/'>marhabayoga.com[/url'> the site lists yoga classes all over Dubai. Just select Pre-natal from the Classes selector, if you register all the other filters are enabled and its free.

Hi, We went just before xmas. Hotel is small and quiet, views are amazing, food was ok. We used the tour operator based in the hotel and found them to be very good and did the following: Full day dow cruise was lovely, quality of snorkels weren't good so would bring my own next time. Drive up the mountains was super, amazing views and fossils to see, hard todo yourself. We went to see the rock etchings ourselves, not much to look at really but easy to find. The drive up was easy no problems with the checkpoints and border crossing at Al Qir. It gets cold and google maps didn't work in Khasab but hotel was easy to find. Have fun.

Hi, Rate is even better now than when I transferred about a month ago. I used FirstRateFX and would recommend them. Take a look at this other [url=threhttp://www.expatwoman.com/forum/topic238731-transfer-dirhams--uk-forum23.aspxad'>thread[/url'>.

They're all good. Just take look at what they have on display, it changes every day. When you have found what you want at the price you want to pay, make sure you take it round the corner to get it cleaned and filleted. I try and go there, much fresher and cheaper than the other shops.

That happened to us, the bank lost our money! I know HSBC may not be the best around, however, their global view has made transferring money between local Dubai account and offshore Jersey account easier, all online and instant as it should be, you just don't get the best conversion rate, not a big problem when moving small amounts.

Hi, It is as straight forwards as you would expect from bank to bank, but you won't get the best rate from the bank as compared to an exchange bureau or other third party. If you don't mind the exchange rate then just do it online with your bank, I have a HSBC local account and a HSBC offshore account you can transfer money instantly online. That's why I shopped around and finally settled for firstratefx, they have a Dubai office and now after my first transfer with them, I feel comfortable recommending them. Hope that helps.

I found this older thread which recommended [url=http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/topic230061-best-way-to-transfer-money-house-deposit-back-to-the-uk-forum23.aspx '>FirstRateFX[/url'>. I used them and found them to offer a good rate. Saying that the current rate for GBP is getting better, I was quoted 5.61 this morning at exchange shop in Satwa plant street.

Hi, thanks for posting. I used Ben last week, I got a good rate, the GBP rate is even lower this week, I was a little nervous not using a bank, but would definitely check with them the next time I need to send money back to the UK. I was quoted 5.61 aed to GBP this morning in Satwa money exchange on plant street which was better than doing it over the phone with FirstRateFX last week but, the exchange rate is always on the move. So looks like now is a good time to be sending money back.

hi, We have had one installed for over two years now, it's a reverse osmosis drinking water system. It fits under the sink and allows us to use water from a separate tap which we use for food and drinks, there's also a separate pipe which feeds into our water cooler so we always have drinking water. Filters are replaced every few months and we haven't had any problems with the water system and are very happy with it. The company we use charged us 2500 dirhams for the system which includes the maintenance for the filter changes you will need for 1 year. Hi Tech water Star 056 966 3969, ring after 10:00

Hi, If you look out for signs for [url=http://tinyurl.com/oyo4rug'>Byblos Hotel[/url'>, its the turning before Park-n-Shop depending on which way you are comming from, take the turning. You might be lucky and find parking out side the hotel or the shops opposite, otherwise you can park in the building for free, just continue going past the enterance of the the holtel, you will see a small roundabout in front of you if you approach the car park barrier just before Byblos hotel there's normally a parking attendant there, 30 mins before the class starts ,who will let you in. They are on the 4th floor Lovely studio.

I brought and used the [url=http://www.groupon.ae/deals/dealbank_en_ae/ga-british-airways/61944223'>BA Groupon offer[/url'>. The only catch is that you have to book the flights indvidually and voucher can't be applied for a child on their online system. I still saved 540 dirhams.

Which format do you have the video in, is it stored memory card, cassette? Do you have the original video camera? Does it have a firewire port? If it does then it can be copied onto a computer for editing, you will need to buy a cable which costs about 100 dirham. I use Movie maker on the Mac for editing, its free and does all the basics and more. good luck.

Hi Goku. Does your MacBook Air have retina display? Do you know if was cheaper than going to Apple's Education site here? Hi, MacBook airs do not have Retina displays at the moment, only the Pro has the Retina display. To be honest I was quite suprised by how good the display was on the air. Education discount is 5%, so should get the price down to 3799 and you do get locally warranty. As I was buying three, I decided 3400 was the best deal for me. <em>edited by Goku on 15/12/2014</em>

We have all switched over to Mac's, after being happy windows users that is until the latest version of Windows arrived we found it really difficult to use. Macs do take time getting used to and are'nt as intutive as people say they are, however, they are built very well and you will get used to its quirks over the course of a few weeks. I brought three last week, 2 kids birthdays in December! Best price I found was from Computer Plaza Al Ain Center, there are so many shops you can buy from upstairs, just pick one. I paid 3400 dirhams for Mac Book Air 13" with 128 GB drive, they come with an international warranty, and cannot be serviced here, if you're willing to pay an extra 500 dirham you can just buy one from the mall. I run office 2011 for Mac, which works fine, I also found the screen resoultion which is considerably lower than the Mac Book Pro to not be a problem.

I just thought I would outline procedure, I did visa renewal for my maid at Al Manara building next to Noor Islamic Bank metro station [u'>[b'>What you need :[/b'>[/u'> 4 passport size maid photos Original maid passort Copies of maid passport and sponsors passport (easier to get this done beforehand , not sure exactly how many they ask for) Maids Emirates ID Copy of Dewa bill Copy of Ejari Sponsors Salary certificate in Arabic Maids vaccination record [u'>[b'>Visit typing centre[/b'>[/u'> Get there early much easier todo then, they open 7:30 Tell them you want to renew maid visa. They will start off with a medical for your maid, show them the vaccination record they will print out a form. They will also renew your maid's Emirates ID. Pay for maids medical Take maid and form to a medical centre, I went to Al Karama Medical Centre, it took around 30 mins. Once the medical is complete return back to the typing office and continue with the renewal, they will take all documents from you and give you back the forms, nothing to fill in yourself. Pay for visa renewal Then take a ticket to see immigration. They will issue new contract, visa & labour card. Costs of renewal 480 Medical 35 Stamping fee at medical centre, not sure what this was for 170 Emirates ID 5300 Visa renewal fee [b'>5985 total[/b'> Sponsor only needs to go in when visiting immigration, I did this over 5 days always getting there early and it was fairly easy. Hi, We went for 6 days with two children, 8 & 11(october last year), we all had a great time. I have included our itinerary. So as you arrive at 5am I have suggested that you transfer directly to Kandalama with a stopover at Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage to see the elephants as well as have breakfast there. You can watch them bathing in the river and before that if you like you can feed the baby elephants milk bottles The following day you could visit Polonnaruwa and Minneriya national park. The following day you transfer to Kandy and en route you climb Sigiriya rock fortress and Dambulla cave temple. There are lots of monkeys in Dambulla. The following day in Kandy you could visit temple of tooth and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Then the next day you transfer to Pusellawwa to lavender house. On the second day if you wish you could drive to Nuwara Eliya for sightseeing. That?s only if you wish. On 17 Oct you could transfer directly to airport. The journey would take around 3.5 hours. Hotels: 11 Oct to 13 Oct ? Heritance Kandalama ? Dambulla ( 2 nights ? 1 Superior triple room) http://www.reddottours.com/86/heritance-kandalama-accommodation-profile.htm 13 Oct to 15 Oct ? Clove Villa ? Kandy ( 2 nights ? 2 Deluxe rooms) http://www.reddottours.com/633/clove-villa-accommodation-profile.htm 15 Oct to 17 Oct ? Lavender House ? Pusellawa ( 2 nights 2 Garden rooms) http://www.reddottours.com/263/lavender-house-accommodation-profile.htm Transfers and Activity Summary: 11 Oct On arrival transfer to Dambulla (3.5 hours ) En route visit Pinnawela Elephant orphanage 12 Oct Visit Polonnaruwa and Minneriya National park 13 Oct Transfer to Kandy ( 2.5 hours) Climb Sigiriya in the morning and Dambulla cave temples 14 Oct Visit temple of tooth relic and Royal Botanical Gardens 15 Oct Transfer to Pusellawa ( 2 hours) 16 Oct Visit Nuwara Eliya optional 17 Oct Departure transfer to airport ( 3.5 hours)
