hubby's employer has confirmed that maternity will be covered by the health provider.. they haven't mentioned anything about the waiting time!!! They are well aware that I am already pregnant and will be around 25 weeks when we get there. I have looked into Al Zahra hospital and couple of other gov hospitals as they're reasonably cheap compare to others in case we have to pay from our own pockets.. Does anyone know about health card provided by gov and what does it consist? how long does it takes to get one?

Hi all, We will be moving to Dubai from UK around end of August. Has anyone got any recommendations for shipping companies to move belongings from UK to Dubai.. my main concerns are costs, time taken ( to ship stuff from UK to Dubai including custom time) and whether they do packing and unpacking, Any suggestions will be much appreciated!! :) Ta very much in advance :)

Thank you Botero17 for your advise I will definitely look in to it..Also, if I am shipping all baby related stuff with all my furniture can I still claim VAT back? Comp99 - hubby's employer is going to contribute towards health insurance so we will need to do that once we're there I guess!
