are you in Nairobi yet? i am supposed to move there too, i am a bit nervous after all the recent attacks, and threats. We love kenya, but I am a mother of a 4 year old, and my mommy protection instincts are kicking in. if you are there how are you finding it? I have friends in Kenya, which part are you going to live, Kenya is safe, only some parts but all is in control..Incase you need any help, let me know I can give some of my relative's No. to guide.

Hello. Anyone here living in Kenya? My husband is currently based in Nairobi, so it looks like a permanent move is on the cards next year sometime. Just looking for any views on the place and how people find it. Many thanks. Hi am from kenya but moved to qatar recently....need any help let me know.

Fairy Dust you could try facebook for some answers. I'm in Dar es Salaam (previously Dubai) and people say there is more to offer in Nairobi than Dar. We have a great network through a facebook page for expats. I had a look and found one for Nairobi, might be worth joining to see if they can answer your questions.
