They don't care. DM has an anti-Dubai agenda, always has done. She's being fed exactly what to say by that shifty organisation DID - I notice no one is reporting how one of their members has been convicted for fraud, and upheld in the UK courts as well - they owe millions. Also interesting how no one has asked her about coming to Dubai and operating illegally, giving botox and fillers etc - media these days is a shambles.

Your husband will have to give you an NOC to say that you can work. Just a short letter with your name and passport number on it. Easily done.

C9 is fine as a kick start, so long as people understand that it's a cleanse/ severe low calorie way to do it. But as you rightly say it's not sustainable and definitely shouldn't be used long term. But it is a good way to give the system a jolt. I tried it, but personally I had a terrible reaction to the Aloe Vera.

An owner can have as many agents as they want. However, YOU need to set the ground rules. Give them days and times they can bring people to view and that's it. They have to understand that you're living there and they can't just rock up whenever they want to.

Yes DU don't offer that option anymore. Unfortunately you're going to find many things cost far more here than they do elsewhere, you just have to get used to it and stop comparing. It is what it is,

Ummm you do understand what Veal actually is right? There are very few instances of pasture raised veal, because the met comes from calves upto 6 months old that have been fed nothing but milk. Veal is incredibly cruel, because the calves are kept chain up inside tiny cages, barely able to move and fed nothing but milk, then slaughtered at 6 months - that's why the meat is like it is. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but people need to be educated as to where their various types of meat comes from. PS - I'm not a vegetarian.

Here's a really good article, that sums it up in a nutshell! Worth a read. Again, reiterates that on it's own EMS will do nothing to help you lose weight, but should only be used alongside a proper diet and exercise plan - once again, what all the trainers and experts I know state. So if you want results, you going to have to do other things as well. You have to make it a lifestyle change. http://20-fit.com/quick-weight-loss-ems-real-exagerated-marketing-trick/

Well as someone who's had EMS as part of physio and recovery, I can categorically tell you this is NOT for weightloss. The ONLY way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in - it's a simple numbers game and the only way to do that is to eat properly and burn calories through proper exercise. EMS is not proper exercise. It's really as simple as that. I suspect your friends are using EMS alongside proper exercise routines - as it should be - but it certainly isn't going to produce results on it's own. I also have a real hard time believing you have zero time to do anything - yet you manage 2x20 mins a week for your EMS. Well those 2 x 20 mins per week would be better off doing a few rounds of jumping jacks, skipping, squats, push up and sit ups. If you did that a few times a week, you'd see better results and save yourself some cash. This might seem harsh, but sometimes a reality check is in order. EMS on it's own will produce no results, apart from giving better muscle tone, it's not a weightloss tool, has never been marketed as such and anyone who does so, is quite frankly irresponsible.

Etisalat do just home internet services starting at 299dhs excl VAT. Really depends where you end up living as some areas are Etisalat or DU exclusive so you might not have a choice. Visit both their websites.

I understand. But as ranstone rightly says, you'll end up needing an internet connection as it's pretty impossible to live without one. You could take take a super basic package for a couple of hundred dhs a month, then watch your Netflix and other things through that. Probably a better option.

Why would you consider EMS nonsense, based on some feedback and research, I have heard good reviews about it, also is a convenient mean for those who do not have so much time during the day or the...
My opinion is based on what I know about physiology, talking to LOTS of personal trainers and fitness professional friends. EMS should be used as a muscle recovery tools AFTER working out, it certainly is NOT a replacement for exercise. EMS is NOT FDA approved and companies in the US claiming that it is a weightloss tool are getting into trouble - that should tell you everything you need to know. Quite simply there is no 'convenient' short cut to getting fit and losing weight, it takes hard work, time and effort. Are you telling me you don't even have 30 mins a day to go for a walk, jog, do some body-weight exercises at home? That at least would be a start. Sorry to say, but you sound like you want results without making an effort. Doesn't work like that.

What? I watch ALL my tv shows through Netflix and Prime, definitely not just for movies - also if you have a three letter device that cannot be named, you can access the UK and US versions and not just the UAE one. We use the Amazon Firestick, which gives access to a ton of stuff - including Netflix.

Nope. No such thing here. Most people have Netflix or Amazon Prime. You used to be able to just get internet at home, but I think they stopped doing that. Even a mobile data package is going to cost you a couple of hundred Dhs a month.

Yup Etisalat and DU are you're only options. Netflix has slightly restricted content, due to the fact that OSN have the rights to many shows here, so they won't appear there. DU have some decent eals on packages at the moment, but you're still going to pay 400-500dhs a month.

I'm sorry but EMS is nonsense and all the other things you're doing are NOT working out! There is simply no substitute for proper exercise and a decent diet. The ONLY way you are going to see results is if you move away from all the rubbish gimmicks and start seriously working out - at least 30 mins EVERY DAY. Join a gym, go to some classes, eat properly and you'll see results. There are no shortcuts, easy fixes, to losing weight and getting into shape.

Try Dr Radwa at Mediclinic in Ibn Battuta. With these there's not much the Dr's can do, it's going to be down to you and your diet/hygiene practices. Take daily pro-biotics - ones especially made for women with over 2 billion active cultures. Overhaul your diet and reduce, cut out acidic foods/drinks. Wear cotton underwear and avoid tight trousers/jeans etc. And DON'T use those feminine washes as they're a major culprit for all this stuff, avoid soaps and other harsh things. I go through cycles of Thrush and BV and it's awful. But since doing the above, it's all really helped.

Agents, landlords etc cannot just come and go as they please. YOU fix the days/times you are available for people to come and view. If the apartment is sold, everything is transferred to the new owner and they become your landlord effectively. Also be aware any new buyer could also then send you a 12 months eviction notice if they then want to move into the apartment themselves.

As you've already been advised elsewhere, please do not use a maid who is privately sponsored by someone else - it's illegal, carries fines of 50,000 dhs for everyone and deportation for the maid. Your only legal routes are to sponsored someone yourself, or use an agency. Agencies can provide ladies who are ok with pets and you give the agency a key and they hand it out to the cleaning lady on the days they're required to come.

Yes I have. I did my lessons at Al Ahli driving school and they were very good. Be aware you're likely to be the only woman in the classes and you need to sign a waiver for the instructor to be able to 'touch' you if need be - in case you fall off. You have to do some mandatory theory classes, take your theory test then to the practical side. Practicals are broken down into three sections before your road test.

I have a few friends who are pilots and they're pretty pushed to the limit right now. The queue and training for command is looooooooong, my friend has been waiting ages - he was a Captain at his previous airline, had to go to Emirates as an FO, still waiting to do his command tests and he's way more qualified with far more hours than some of the current Captains. They seem to live good lives and are pretty happy, but they don't have children, which I guess makes a huge difference.

Brutal honesty - there's a bazillion of these already up and running and you'll need a minimum of around 10-15,000 followers before anyone will even consider doing any collaborations. You need to do something that sets you apart from everyone else who's already established. Unfortunately many people think they can just set these things up and away they go. No so. The majority of bloggers/influencers do this full time.
