Be careful posting things from here to Australia. We stopped posting things for a long time and then needed to send one thing to Mellbourne about 3 weeks ago and did so by express. It arrived just Sunday after a full 3 weeks. So much for express. In the past things have also gone missing so don't bother sending cards presents anymore in case they don't arrive. Ecards are the best!

Thank you ladies for the suggestions. Am going through them all. It's for my sis, looking to send something for my sister. Doesn't drink and does not like sweet stuff, plus our tastes in clothes, jewellery , etc vary so wildly.. Thought I would buy her some savoury stuff online. Took a look at the link, Myers does a pamper gift card which sounds really nice. Might go that route. Just an additional question, is it expensive to post stuff from here to Australia by regular post. Saw jewellery at a craft market here she may like, was wondering if that was feasible. thanks again

It depends what you are looking for, is it a gift? or are you going to visit and need groceries for your stay. Like the others have mentioned Myers, David Jones, Coles, Woolworths all do online deliveries. For alcohol there is also Dan Murphy http://danmurphys.com.au/dm/home.jsp

I think David Jones would be your best choice

If you want a hamper Myer and David Jones both have this service. Jones the grocer may-Google it and see. Otherwise the large supermarket chains like Coles and Safeway/Woolworths offer home delivery and will work out much cheaper. Depends how gourmet you want to go! Assume you mean Melbourne Australia-not the one in Florida. edited by wuffles on 01/06/2013
