Expats in Egypt - Where are you guys??
Hi Ladies,
So I'm an expat (American Egyptian) who moved to Cairo, Egypt for the first time about 10 months ago. Although my parents and heritage is Egyptian, I was born and raised in the good old USA my whole life. Before moving to Egypt, I lived in Dubai for 6 years and hands down I could not have gotten through it without Expatwoman by my side! I don't work for Expatwoman and in fact I never had time to meet any of the lovely ladies at Expatwoman events due to my demanding job, but you guys were my source for anything I needed to know as an expat and all things Dubai!
Now I'm here in Cairo and I am utterly and completely helpless in the hustle and bustle of this city! I am fortunate to have my husband (who is native Egyptian) and relatives who take care of things, but it would be so great to have an Expatwoman Egypt forum for everything from advice on schools to finding ingredients for pumpkin pie in Egypt!
So why is there no Expatwoman Egypt?? Where are you expat ladies living in Cairo? I know you are here because I've seen you around! I've tried some of the other sites like Internations, but the posts are not updated and it's just not at all the same! Expatwoman was THE source for expat ladies for everything from finding jobs to doctors to curling irons! I miss you Expatwoman and if there are ladies like me out there, or Expatwoman Admin who can advise on the lack of an Egyptian forum, please reply to this post!!!!
