Needless to say, none of the above should stop you travelling and experiencing the world. And now Nickolai Kinny's fresh idea behind TravelBUD wants to give women the courage to get out there and explore.

With just a click of a button, women here in the UAE and around the MENA region will soon be able to find, plan and execute their travels in new and exciting destinations... And TravelBUD will make it happen!

What is TravelBUD?

Although it's at the idea stage, Nickolai plans to develop both a fully responsive website and application that can be used by all women alike. TravelBUD will serve as the go-to travel planner in the palm of your hand, and will guide you through your journeys to ensure you're always in the company of reliable tours, travel companions, local company and more. 

There will be approximately 200 destinations that have been deemed safe enough to travel to by women when travelling, and each will have a list of safe and reliable tours that travellers can connect and plan their experiences with. 

TravelBUD aims to create a community, and connect female travellers so they may find travel companions on their journeys. Additionally, it will ensure that 'buddies' using the app will always have a local contact that is trustworthy and reliable. 

Not only that, there will be personal guides written by other women who have shared their experiences, so users of TravelBUD will know exactly what to expect from first-hand feedback. 

There's plans to include all of the above... And more! Calendar tours, rated service providers, community support through social interactions and a tool that will allow users to search for fellow, local 'buddies'. 

Why do I need an app to help me travel?

Unfortunately as a woman, the question of safety often comes into account if we're planning to travel solo or as a group of female friends. Even if you're in a relationship, married or a mother, often the urge to see and travel more may come up, but you are prevented to do so due to questions of safety and other factors. As a result, Nickolai and TravelBUD aims to provide a trustworthy community of 'buddies' that can help all users of the app be safe and feel connected while travelling.
